Netflix is ready with yet another thriller to bless our screens with and it also happens to be a literary adaptation! The Devil in Ohio trailer is out and the upcoming series promises some intriguing aspects that will attract Ari Aster and Robert Eggers fans. It is based on the book of the same name by Daria Polatin that was published back in 2017.
The suspense thriller has Daria Polatin, Rachel Miller and Andrew Wilder as executive producers and is being produced by Ian Hay. Daria Polatin also serves as the showrunner for the series. The episodes are going to be directed by John Fawcett, Brad Anderson, Leslie Hope, and Steve Adelson. It stars Emily Deschanel as Dr. Suzanne Mathis- a hospital psychiatrist along with Madeleine Arthur as Mae, who are going to be the major characters in the show.
The cast also includes Sam Jaeger as Peter, Gerardo Celasco as Detective Lopez, Xaria Dotson as Jules Mathis along with Alisha Newton as Helen, Naomi Tan as Dani, Djouliet Amara as Tatiana, Jason Sakaki as Isaac, Marci T. House as Adele, Samantha Ferris as Rhoda, Bradley Stryker as Sheriff Wilkins, Evan Ellison as Sebastian, Ty Wood as Teddy, Stacey Farber as Gina, Tahmoh Penikett as Malachi and Keenan Tracey as Noah. The filming for the series has taken place in Vancouver, Canada.

Devil in Ohio is slated to arrive on Netflix on September 2, 2022. The series is dubbed as a miniseries and will consist of eight episodes in total. Each episode will be of 45-50 minutes.
