Baek-ryun will tragically die on behalf of Jae-hee because as per the Deity’s notice, it was Jae-hee who was destined to die this time but once again fate plays and pulls off the female lead’s last breath. This is maybe to resurrect her as a supernatural being so that Sang-hyuk can finally love the woman he wants to lead a life with. Or simply, she might get saved (which seems impossible) but since it is a supernatural series, we will never know.
The serial killer will be arrested/killed and the reason behind his killing will be shown. Jae-hee might remember his entire past and let go of the animal he used to be and live the life of the good man he currently is. Sang-hyuk and Baek-ryun will have a happy ending and in fact the other cupids will also find a share of romance with the worldly women they love.

The recent episode revealed the true serial killer, the one who frequented Baek-ryun’s clinic. He confronted her with a menacing smile and a sharp scalpel, intending harm. Luckily, Baek-ryun managed to escape thanks to a timely intervention by her receptionist. Concerned for her safety, Officer Seo Jae-hee and Sang-hyuk rushed to her clinic, but the killer had already fled. The death of Kim Myeong-sik escalated the police investigation.
Baek-ryun, seeking answers, turned to a hypnosis expert and vividly relived her past life as Jeong-ah, recognizing the killer’s voice. The supernatural aspect unfolded as Sang-hyuk encountered the mysterious little boy, the Deity of Courage, who shared insights on destiny and second chances. Sang-hyuk, releasing cupid arrows, explored the complexities of fate and free will.
In a crucial development, Baek-Ryeon and Officer Jae-hee teamed up to hunt down the elusive killer. However, a chilling revelation from Samshin, the divine entity, hinted at a tragic destiny for Baek-ryun tied to Officer Jae-hee. The episode ended with a suspenseful climax, as Baek-ryun, unaware of imminent danger, sat in Officer Jae-hee’s car. Sang-hyuk’s frantic call suggested an explosive turn of events, leaving viewers eager to unravel the aftermath.
