My Happy Marriage Episode 5 is highly anticipated by fans. My Happy Marriage (My Blissful Marriage) or Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (わたしの幸せな結婚) is an upcoming anime series which will be premiering on Netflix. Based on the light novel of the same name written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, it also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Rito Kohsaka.
The live-action film adaptation of the fantasy series was released in Japan on March 2023. Following the story of Miyo, who enters an arranged marriage with a ruthless commander, officially got its own anime series announced to be directed by Takehiro Kubota under Kinema Citrus Studios. Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi and Momoka Toyoda are credited as the writers, and Evan Call gives the music.
Licensed under Netflix, the series is scheduled to run for 13 episodes. With an estimated duration of 20-25 minutes each, the episodes are available in English dub and subtitles. The opening theme song is Anata no Soba ni (貴方の側に。, “By Your Side”) by Riria and the ending theme song, Vita Philosophica (ヰタ・フィロソフィカ), is performed by Kashitarō Itō.

My Happy Marriage Plot
The plot of the show is set in the early fictional years of Japan, where possessing supernatural powers holds the utmost form of respect. However, Miyo, following the death of her mother, leads a rather miserable life with her stepmother and stepsister. As she possesses no power, she is deemed as a useless member of the household, and everyone in the family devalues her. She is married off to a ruthless commander named Kudou, and her life completely changes since then.

In the fourth episode, Miyo tries to get a gift for Kudo after he gifted her a comb in the last episode. However, since she doe not have much money, she decided to make a hair tie for him. However, she comes across her sister Kaya at the market, who starts to abuse her again. Miyo becomes very upset about the incident and started to isolate herself from the rest. However, the next day her old maid Hana comes over. Later Miyo finds out that it was Kiyoka who invited her. Moreover, Kiyoka officially proposes to her and asks for her hand in marriage. Additionally, he also asks her father and stepmother to apologise to Miyo for mistreating her for years.
