My Demon follows the tale of Do Do-hee (Kim Yoo-jung), a formidable heiress whose cynical view of love is upended when she enters a contract marriage with Jung Gu-won (Song Kang), a centuries-old demon accustomed to preying on humans. My Demon Episode 13 Recap
The episode begins with Cheon-sook confessing in a church, hinting that she may be responsible for the accident that took Do-hee’s parents. Gu-won later takes Do-hee to his office, creating sweet moments, including a magical display of fireflies. He vows not to make Do-hee miserable and seeks divine advice.
Back at home, Do-hee and Gu-won continue their romance, however, a tragic accident triggers Do-hee’s sadness. Seeking answers, Gu-won learns from Seok-hoon about Do-hee’s relatives abandoning her after her parents’ death. Cheon-sook’s demise leaves Do-hee feeling desolate again.
In the office, Seok-min disregards Cheon-sook’s safety rules, establishing his own laws. Meanwhile, his guilt-ridden wife relies on sleeping pills to cope with her son’s death. Gu-won comforts Do-hee with a dream, and they plan to spend Christmas together. Bok-gyu and Da-jeong’s relationship flourishes secretly, while Ga-young decides to move on from her feelings for Gu-won.
Seok-min invites Do-hee to a family gathering, aiming to mend their relationship. Gu-won makes a deal with a gambler, gaining admirers among his delinquent followers. Se-ra discovers a demon book, leading to a confrontation with her husband. The family dinner with Seok-min turns disastrous when he demands shares, facing rejection.
Seok-hoon confronts Seok-min about harmful changes in the company, resulting in his removal as CEO. Gu-won aims to retrieve the demon manual and visits the hospital where Seok-min’s wife is held captive. Do-hee learns of Seok-min’s actions from Seok-hoon and confronts him, discovering his mother’s involvement in her parents’ deaths. Seok-min confesses and attempts to strangle Do-hee in a shocking turn of events.
