Ms Incognito Episode 4 Recap

The episode opens with Dong-min overhearing all of Yeong-ran’s conversation with Mi-sun, but thankfully, the latter covers it up quickly to keep Yeong-ran’s identity a secret. Dong-min, however, is still sceptical of her. Back in Seoul, Sun-yeong goes to file a missing person’s report, and although the police are initially hesitant, they are eventually forced to take a report. Meanwhile, Seon-woo searches for So-young but has to jump through a few hoops.

At Muchang, Yeong-ran faces the biggest challenge yet – teaching a class of kindergarteners. Instead of teaching them a song or a story, she, instead, teaches them self-defence. It devolves into all the children starting to cry after Yeong-ran accidentally pops their favourite toy. Things continue to remain icy between Yeong-ran and the villagers, who are unable to trust her motivations. In Seoul, Hye-jin figures out not only about Sung-ho’s secret chamber, but also Yeong-ran’s true identity.

At Muchang, a welcome dinner is prepared with Yeong-ran’s help, and as the villagers get ready to prepare everything well, Hye-ji makes an entrance. Meanwhile, things between Yeong-ran and Dong-min get very awkward after he almost spots all of her hidden camera feeds and, trying to stop him, she gets a bit too close for comfort. Of course, all of that is secondary when she spots Hye-ji in front of her.

This week has been one of bridge episodes, and so Ms Incognito loses its steam this time around. However, after the base is created, I hope we can move on to the revenge plot while also focusing on the romance as the B-plot. I am interested to see where the series goes from here, but there’s not much to talk about in episode 4 because nothing really happens!
