Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3
Following the Guardians and their adventures, this time, they are on a quest to find Gamora. She was lost in the current timeline and is now free to do whatever she wants. However, the High Evolutionary has made his appearance after years of hiatus. He is ready to take back Rocket, who is being searched for. We also see the backstory of his character and where he came from. Meanwhile, we will also be introduced to new characters like Adam Warlock.
Ugram
Following a police officer, this film focuses on a specific case involving two missing people, the man’s father and his son. However, it is soon revealed that there is a network behind these missing people, and they will only be caught when Police Officer K Shiva Kumar arrives at the scene. The officer’s backstory also involves the tragic kidnapping of his wife and child, which makes this case all too personal for him. The network continues to grow, and the officer now has to avenge not just his family but the nation as well.
The Kerala Story
In this harrowing story following three girls, the film talks about how they were inducted into a religion after circumstances and faith moved them to change their beliefs and become a part of a group. We realise, though, that the woman inducting them is actually working for an organisation that specialises in crime and terrorism. Soon, it is explored that their lives are not their own, and the only way they will be able to taste a modicum of freedom is if they follow a comprehensive set of rules.

Afwaah
A politician and his fiancee have been going through some trouble, especially after he starts behaving maniacally with his constituents. Additionally, a tragic experience with the fiancee involves the head of an advertising firm which has now created a rumour. Since social media is a difficult, nay impossible, beast to tame, their lives are changed forever. The two then get together to escape from the politicians with their lives and careers in tow.
2018
Following a traumatic flooding incident in the Idukki Dam area, this film tells the story of specific people who were involved in it and how it affected their lives as they dealt with the excessive rain. The film also strives to bring police officers, media professionals and civilians in order to truly encompass the range of the impact. Rural habitants who have been travelling kilometres in order to get water will now face a crisis exactly the opposite way.
Love Again
When Mira loses the love of her life, she cannot get over him. Texting his old number is the only way she can keep him alive in her life. But when a cynic on love is assigned this number and starts receiving these texts, he is unable to shake them off. He keeps reading these messages from her and feels like they have something to tell him, even if they’re not meant for him. When he meets her for the first time, sparks fly, and she believes that this might be a real attempt at finding love, unlike the experiences she’s had before.
This film will be released in theatres on May 5, 2023, for American audiences. This film will be released in India on May 12, 2023.
