BTS fans are swamped with one thing or another nowadays, especially with Suga’s Agust D tour in full swing. Each day brings about some new performances that help us bring closer to his artistic values and innate genius that makes it all happen. Since each member of the South Korean septet is off partaking in separate activities, with the group being on an extended hiatus due to the commencement of their chronological military enlistments, the tiniest of interactions between either of them lights up a spark in ARMY-land.

In today’s edition of the group members making their fans, aka ARMYs, emotional, Park Jimin was spotted at his fellow member’s most recent concert slated for the Newark (U.S.) audience in Prudential Centre. Other fans attending the concert couldn’t believe their eyes when they recognised who was enjoying the magical night beside them at the location. Eventually, Jimin took a bow while standing amidst the raging Newark crowd when Suga called out his name and announced his presence among the audience.
Since this brief yet meaningful interaction during the event, both members have been trending worldwide on Twitter, making it just another day of BTS breaking the internet casually. Tweets exclaiming, “I was breathing the same air as Yoongi and Jimin… Thank you, lord I made it” surfaced on the platform.
One of the other tremendously rising trends on Twitter was quoted as “Proud of Our Lotus Flower”, which refers to the singer’s lyrics in the 4th song Amygdala of his debut solo album D-Day. Through this particular song, Suga found a means to express and vocalise how in his past, he wasn’t necessarily thriving in ideal conditions with heartbreaking traumas surrounding his family striking his morale down. Yet, despite it all, he thrived like lotus flowers blooming in muddy waters.
This song has helped many listeners find peace and calm in the storm of their respective lives. ARMYs have been exceedingly thankful to him for having produced such a song and allowed them to hear it on his album (that also marks the final entry of his initial Agust D trilogy that began with the eponymously named mixtape in 2016).
Jimin and Suga Collaborating for Agust D Tour?
After that, the two artists sat down together for a Weverse live broadcast and discussed the concert’s happenings while teasing the fans and their innovative absurd ways of cheering for Suga while he performed for them on stage. One of the most major aspects of this conversation tilted towards them discussing the possibility of performing together on stage. Much like Suga, Jimin, too, misses being on stage. However, with the ongoing group hiatus, he has yet to have the chance to step out and fulfil that dream of his.
Suga brought up the best possible solution for this problem when he asked the other to be a guest performer for his tour’s setlist. While at the time, Jimin nervously laughed it off, this could eventually result in a big thing, especially since the two have previously performed Tony Montana, a song off Suga’s 2016 mixtape Agust D. The studio version originally features the Korean rapper Yankie, but during BTS’ 3rd Muster setlist, Jimin and Suga stepped out for a special performance of the song.

This particular song has been a much-talked-about concern among the group’s fans, and their dream was ultimately answered when BTS released their long-running anthology album PROOF. The 3rd CD of this album included several demos of songs that ARMYs have come to love over the years. The studio version of Suga and Jimin’s collaboration was also one of these tracks.
The same discussion initiated on their live broadcast was also hinted at when Jimin visited the sets of the elder member’s talk show Suchwita during the promotions of his own solo album FACE. Even then, the elder rapper had planned for the younger member to join him on stage. With a new day’s conversation centred around the same issue, will the two make it happen? Only time will tell, but with Jimin attending Suga’s concerts, the glorious opportunity is at hand, and the fans wish that their dream of seeing them live together will come true again.
