Netflix’s latest romantic drama Royalteen isn’t the ordinary love story we are used to. The enjoyable tale divulges in some secrets as it also opens our hearts to an enjoyable romance. Directed by Per-Olav Sørensen and Emilie Beck, the film stars Ines Høysæter Asserson, Mathias Storhøi and Elli Müller Osborne.
Royalteen comes from Randi Fuglehaug and Anne Gunn Halvorsen’s novel titled Arvingen. The Norwegian movie has a runtime of 107 minutes and gives us quite some rolls and a cliffhanger ending by the end. The story revolves around Prince Karl Johan and the mysterious newcomer Lena, who develop romantic feelings for each other. However, with the weight of the relationship they want to forge comes very many responsibilities and the space to come clean of a scandalous past.

The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004)
Anne Hathaway’s The Princess Diaries film series is always going to be evergreen. The adaptation of Meg Cabot’s teenage hit books is astoundingly good but, it is the second movie in the film series that tunes the best with Royalteen. Roman Holiday (1953)
