Flower of Evil Actor Lee Joon-gi Shows His Support for the Adaptations of the Popular Kdrama

With new adaptations of the popular crime thriller Kdrama Flower of Evil coming out, the star of the series, Lee Joo-gi takes to his Instagram to show his support for the remaking of this show. The actor has not only brought the spotlight to the remaking of the show but has also won hearts by doing so.

On August 19, the Indian OTT platform Zee5 released the remake of the popular thriller, titled Duranga and is happy for being able to be the first to remake a Korean series. With the growing popularity of Korean dramas among Indian audiences, it is a given that fans would be curious about this remake.

However, when the actor from the original adaptation shared a post to support the new adaptation, fans couldn’t keep calm. Lee Joon-gi has definitely stolen the hearts of many by showing his support for the new adaptations and it did not stop with just sharing the poster for Duranga.

A day later, he once again took to social media and shared the poster of the upcoming Philipino adaptation of Flower of Evil, once again exciting fans everywhere.

Now, while the fans are excited by the love and support that he has shown for Duranga and the upcoming adaptation, they can’t help but remember the original that stole their breaths away.

One fan writes, “But the original is original ❤️❤️❤️ we love your drama that’s why it’s going to be remake???? ????????????????”, followed by another who wrote, “No remake can come close to the feels FOE gave though!”

Some are even praising the actor for the support he has shown by commenting, “You are such a nice great SuperStar. Did you know? I’m touched ???????? my only one actor ????????????” on his post.

“Even in the Philippines‼️amazing✨ Really amazing???????????????? Nice news, isn’t it? More fun????????????” wrote another fan.

If you don’t already know about the popular show then, Flower of Evil revolves around a man with a dark past who now lives a happy life with his family. However, this happiness starts to crumble when his wife, who is a detective, starts to investigate a string of murders from 15 years back. What will happen to the loving family after the truth is out?
