Most Anticipated Winter 2025 Anime: To be honest, the list of shows appearing this winter of 2025 is not that impressive, as only a handful are expected to be a hit. Many shows are new, and hence, we have no idea how they might fare in the long run.

However, that does not mean we are entirely out of good anime, as some are already creating quite the buzz with high fan expectations. Hence, let us not waste any time and jump right into this list of the most anticipated winter 2025 anime premiering this January.

Top 7 Most Anticipated Winter 2025 Anime

Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadow

Solo Leveling is the most well-made anime adaptation from a webtoon that was actually entertaining. The anime not only surpassed its source material in terms of storytelling but also delivered improved pacing.

This season, Jinwoo will go on a rampage inside the dungeon and climb the hunter ranks after defeating enemies one after the other. This season, we will also witness the awaited Jeju island arc, which is going to be intense.

Sakamoto Days

Sakamoto Days is perhaps the most anticipated new anime that everyone is looking forward to. It has a unique premise where we look at Sakamoto, once a famed hitman who has now become a tranquil convenience store clerk after meeting the love of his life.

However, when his peaceful days get threatened by his old enemies, he returns to his former self to remind them he has not forgotten his craft.

My Happy Marriage Season 2

When this fantasy romance anime first aired, it soon became one of the best romance shows of 2023. The story is of love, loss and Miyo’s journey to find her bliss in an arranged marriage. Growing up, she never had the delightful fate of being treated as a human by her family and even servants enjoyed a better life than her.

However, that bad luck changes when a marriage that was supposed to be hell for her turns out to be the heaven she deserves. In this season, we will see her face new challenges that will threaten her bond with her husband, Kiyoka.

Honey Lemon Soda

This beloved shoujo manga is finally getting the long-overdue anime adaptation, and I am absolutely thrilled about it. The story follows Uka, an introverted girl who has faced bullying all her life. But she plans to change that after entering high school, where she intends to debut as her new confident self.

Sadly, that plan goes out the window the moment she meets Kai, who is the complete opposite of her character. He is everything she dreams to be, cool, flashy and someone with lots of friends. How this meeting will change their fate is something that we will see here.

The Apothecary Diaries Season 2

One of the highest-rated anime of the upcoming season is undoubtedly going to be The Apothecary Diaries Season 2, and there is good reason behind it. The way this series portrays the intricacies of the imperial court and the mystery surrounding it is praiseworthy.

Apart from that, Maomao is definitely one of the best and most well-written female characters in anime, whose strength lies in her intelligence and ability to deduce issues that many will fail to even comprehend. In this season as well, we will see Maomao’s talents as she solves mysteries and develops new feelings, especially with the beautiful eunuch, Jinshi.

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You Season 2 Or Hyakkano 2

Who would have thought an anime about a guy getting a hundred girlfriends would become such a rage? But it is not just an outrageous premise that made this harem a delight in today’s congested romcom market.

It proudly embraces its chaotic, over-the-top nature, staying unapologetically true to its theme. Not only is this show funny, but it is also built just to entertain. So, sit back, enjoy the laughs, and don’t expect any profound love stories here!

Dr. Stone: Science Future

Everyone’s favourite sci-fi show is back to make science more entertaining than ever before. Now that Senku has set sail towards a new destination with his friends, we expect to see more adventures ahead.

The best part of this season is definitely the fact that we will see both Senku and Tsukasa in action, dealing with issues together. It is going to be a ride, which makes this anime my personal favourite on the list.
