Moon in the Day Overview

Moon in the Day (낮에 뜨는 달) is a fantasy romance Kdrama directed by Pyo Min-soo and Park Chan-yool and is based on the webtoon by Hye Yoom titled The Moon That Rises in the Day. The drama stars Pyo Ye-jin, Kim Young-dae, Ohn Joo-wan, Jung Woong-in, Jung Heon, and Lee Joon-hyuk, alongside other cast members.

The plot revolves around a celebrity Han Joo-ho who has an inferiority complex and gets into an accident due to which he meets the firefighter Kang Young-hwa. Seeing her heroic act, Young-hwa is appointed as Joo-ho’s bodyguard, however, the one she guards is a nobleman from the past whose soul takes over the man’s body. When the nobleman wakes up, he sees the face of the wife who killed him in Young-hwa which makes him want revenge.

Moon in the Day Plot

The synopsis of the story reads: “The story of a man who is stuck in time after being killed by his lover and a woman who has no memories of her past life and experiences time continuously.”

Moon in the Day Cast

Directed by Pyo Min-soo and Park Chan-yool, the drama stars Pyo Ye-jin, Kim Young-dae, Ohn Joo-wan, Jung Woong-in, Jung Heon, and Lee Joon-hyuk, alongside other cast members.

Pyo Ye-jin makes her return after the success in Taxi Driver season 2 alongside The Forbidden Marriage star Kim Young-dae and Man in the Kitchen star Ohn Joo-wan.

The series is set to have a 14-episode runtime and will release two episodes every week (Wednesday-Thursday).

But what people don’t know is the inferiority complex that he hides behind his mask to get through the day without being found out. However, one fine day a shoot that goes wrong changes his life forever as he gets into an accident and brings a nobleman from the past into present times.

But this is not all, a woman saves the celebrity’s life but she resembles the woman who broke the nobleman’s heart and became the reason he died.
