Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi’s release date is steadily approaching and, with that songs have been coming out every other week, making us look forward to the release. After the success of Dholida and Jab Saiyaan, the latter becoming a fan favourite immediately, a new song from the film titled Meri Jaan has been released. Featuring Alia Bhatt and Shantanu Maheshwari wrapped in a quirky, mischievous and, heartfelt romance, the song is a peppy number to get hooked onto immediately.
Meri Jaan is composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the vocals are by Neet Mohan, with lyrics penned by Kumaar. The beautiful sequence scene of the song is shot entirely in a vintage car encapsulates the simple romance between Alia Bhatt and Shantanu Maheshwari’s characters. What makes this song even more striking is the way Sanjay Leela Bhansali has curated his vision to picture an entire song sequence within a car and emotions expressed at their best!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi has already been Berlin approved and the film is all set to release this week. Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios), the film includes Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, Seema Pahwa, Varun Kapoor, Jim Sarbh and Shanu Kumar, apart from Bhatt and Maheswari. It will also star popular actors such as Ajay Devgn, Huma Qureshi and Emraan Hashmi appear in special cameo roles.
