MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 62 is hosted by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and joined by Garima Arora as a judge on the show, the seventh instalment of the series has been produced by Endemol Shine India and directed by Neeraj Shetty. The latest episode, titled ‘Reimagining the Street Foods of India’, that premiered on March 28, 2023, at 9PM IST, eliminated two contestants in the first challenge, while the remaining ones were examined on the basis of a new cooking experience.
The cooking competition show is a nationwide quest to find the best ‘home cook’ and draws out some of the most brilliant chefs from across India. The judges sample recipes from various cuisines that the contestants prepare in their search for India’s ‘MasterChef’. And after going through many challenges, one will win the grand prize and the titles.
Episode 62 started off with two eliminations – Gurkirat Singh Grover and Kamaldeep Kaur – after the first challenge, which eventually led the remaining home cooks to the next test. This time they had to cook-along with the Chefs aka the three judges of the show. While preparing street food may seem like an easy task, the home cooks didn’t necessarily share the same thoughts as they followed the expertise of the judges.
On the contrary, viewers who tuned in to the latest episode had loads of criticisms to share. Much like before, they again couldn’t come to terms with the home cooks preparing pav bhaji for one of the final evaluations in the competition. Thereafter, the upcoming round’s elimination has also got them worried about Suvarna’s future in the MasterChef kitchen. They tried catching hints from the new promo of the show to narrow down the ultimate three finalists as well.
Additionally, some fans also took note of how the number of non-vegetarian dishes having been cooked during the course of the show has drastically plummeted as we keep approaching the final episode. The audience has not been too big of a fan of this decision.
