MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 52 is hosted by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and joined by Garima Arora as a judge on the show, the seventh instalment of the series has been produced by Endemol Shine India and directed by Neeraj Shetty. The latest episode, titled ‘India Ki Rooh’, that premiered on March 14, 2023, at 9PM IST, passed on the goal of containing the tastes of India in a Thali to the home cooks.
The cooking competition show is a nationwide quest to find the best ‘home cook’ and draws out some of the most brilliant chefs from across India. The judges sample recipes from various cuisines that the contestants prepare in their search for India’s ‘MasterChef’. And after going through many challenges, one will win the grand prize and the titles.
Yet again, the remaining home cooks were split into two teams for the second day of the semi-finale week. On being put to test with a taste challenge, the teams had to create a Thali that quintessentially contained the essence of India in it while respecting the time constraint as well as introducing unique flavours to the mix.
Fans have repeatedly been able to guess the winning teams when it comes to such situation due to the supposed favouritism extended by the judges of the show. However, this time around, Chef Vikas Khanna finally opened up about his thoughts without being overshadowed by his fellow companions. Twitter users have constantly been urging him to be more vocal about his critiques, yet all those wishes washed down the drain up until now.
Home cook Aruna has notably been backed up by Chef Ranveer Brar all this while and the fans just can’t seem to get around this one-sided game play. Additionally, the show’s visuals incessantly harking back to the sponsors have also gotten on the fans’ nerves. They’ve vehemently disliked this tactic of the camera switching over to sponsors time and again instead of paying attention to the preparation process being completed by the contestants.
