MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 43 has left the fans agitated once again as some contestants get the short end of the stick despite not having done anything to deserve the same. Hosted by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and joined by Garima Arora as a judge on the show, the seventh instalment of the series has been produced by Endemol Shine India and directed by Neeraj Shetty.
The latest episode of the show that premiered on March 1, 2023, at 9PM IST, is titled ‘Holi Special’, and bridges the gap between home cooks and Super chefs as a new culinary challenge demands their collaborative efforts to come up with a delectable three course meal. Moreover, the feast so set up should capture the essence of the festival of colours – Holi. With seven guest chefs joining in the MasterChef race as sous-chefs, the home cooks had to bring on their A-game to win the ‘Holi Challenge’ at hand.
The cooking competition show is a nationwide quest to find the best ‘home cook’ and draws out some of the most brilliant chefs from across India. The judges sample recipes from various cuisines that the contestants prepare in their search for India’s ‘MasterChef’. And after going through many challenges, one will win the grand prize and the titles.
Some similar notes from the viewers of the show have constantly surfaced on Twitter after each episode’s broadcast. The same behaviour has followed suit after today’s special episode as well. The judges seemed to have put on their biased caps while grading the contestants’ meals, and, somehow, Priyanka always ends up getting critiqued in the same breath, and netizens are frustrated with these turn of events that never work in her favour. Today’s reactions also had people turning up in her support and charging against the judges’ choice of actions.

On the other end, many people who turned up for the episode were able to predict who’d win the challenge beforehand. In addition to that, Gurkirat’s contribution to his side of the challenge was gravely questioned by the fans of the show, who couldn’t help but notice how the work done by the ‘sous-chef’ overshadowed all that he had to offer. The judges are terrible
This seasons’s Master Chef looks biased , the judges are not fair n they are losing the respect gained all these years. Priyanka should also be motivated to bringout her best.

Why does the audience call the judges biased?
Surely, they must have tasted the dishes. Besides, years of experience as chefs, to prove their own mettle, have brought them to the audience.
Some may argue, it is all for TRP purposes, others see the judges being biased.
I consider my own cooking in my home as devotion, the ‘bhav’ behind the cooking (as Chef Ranveer Brar pointed) and not for ‘competition’ does prove who is the finalist.
When one tastes a dish, one automatically feels the vibes of the person cooking the dish.
Good luck to the finalists, one who deserves this title should be a worthy one!
Master chef season 7 is just perfect & I don’t see any kind of favouritism. Infact in the last chefs have clearly pointed the mistakes of Priyanka and suvarna.. so i think critics are more buased for priyanka then chefs

MasterChef is interesting but do not like the way a contestants moves forward. The week of one contestant entering the finale was not judged properly. The whole week dish has to be taken into consideration NOT only the last dish.
I think this point has to be learned from the Endian idol. All the performance of the week has to be considered. Shanta who did good through out the week did not make it but kamaldeep with only the last dish climbs up the ladder. NOT FAIR
