MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 14 Reactions are here as the episode premiered tonight with many tears. Hosted by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and joined by Garima Arora, the first-ever female chef to be a judge on the show, it is produced by Endemol Shine India and directed by Neeraj Shetty.
MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 14 is titled ‘Essence Of Being A Chef’ and the synopsis reads as – Home cooks are under extreme pressure as they tackle with time while keeping food quality in check. Will they manage to impress the chefs and the customers?
The cooking competition show is a nationwide quest to find the best ‘home cook’ and draws out some of the most brilliant chefs from across India. The judges sample recipes from various cuisines that the contestants prepare in their search for India’s ‘MasterChef’. And after going through many challenges, one will win the grand prize and the titles.

Today’s episode was a continuation of the team service challenge where the contestants had to serve 30 people – an Italian four-course meal. They were divided into two teams – team red was led by Aruna and team green was led by Priyanka. In the first course, team green seemed to be winning the judges but in the later courses, things weren’t going in the right direction.
In the case of team green, the judges had to intervene many times to get everyone coordinated with each other. While team red was working as assigned to them, the captain, however, misjudged the responsibility of every member, as some had too much on their plate to complete on time.
So far the viewers have been asking why they aren’t having an Indian cuisine challenge in the show and the pressure of the challenge can be felt even on the other side of the screen. Also, it seems like viewers have started rooting for their favourites, and at the top of the list Nayanjyoti and Santa, are mostly mentioned. Some also pointed out how the show editing gives out all the clues about who will be making it till the end by giving them the most screen time.
