The contestants are presented with a fruit salad in MasterChef Australia Season 14 Episode 43 for their invention test. They are going to have to reinvent the classic old fruit salad dish but, in their own way. The challenge is a warm welcome by most except Tommy, who isn’t a big fan of fruit salads we get to know.

As the competition progresses, we get to hear everyone’s personal stories behind their respective dishes. For Sarah, her fruit salad reinvention is reminiscent of her mother’s pavlova. On the other hand, Julie tries her hand at a Thai version of the fruit salad telling the audience about her honeymoon in Thailand and how she fell in love with Thai cuisine.

However, it is Tommy’s pace and takes the worries, everyone, as the man seemed to be really confused about what to cook for this particular challenge. Halfway down the line, we also see Sarah lose her confidence in her dish and get cold feet. Well, looks like the challenge wasn’t as easy it looked, yeah?

When tasting begins Tommy brings his dish up first, it is called a Fruit Salad Che Ba Mau and it is a job well done, according to the judges. Montana’s dish is a unique one called Fruit Salad Aguachile with Kingfish and Pickled Grapes. It is a mindblowing dish that gets a round of applause from everyone in the MasterChef kitchen.

Keyma’s dish is a Fruit Punch Condensed Milk Jelly that has potential but, is not the best has done. Alvin’s Reimagined Malayasian Rojak is a rockstar of a dish that the judges love.

Strawberry and Kiwi Salad with Pavalova is Sarah’s dish and, yes, it isn’t one of the most inventive ones out of the lot.
