MasterChef Australia Season 14 Episode 32 is called ‘Pressure Test: Donato Toce’s Honey’. Contestants Montana, Daniel, Matt and Michael are in the Pressure Test. Judges Andy Allen, Melissa Leong and Jock Zonfrillo invite Donato Toce of Gelato Messina, who will set the challenge. The contestants have to recreate Toce’s dish Honey and honey tuille, sugar beehive and honey gelato with the financier.
The contestants get three and a half hours to recreate the complicated Honey dessert. The cook that fails to give their best will be eliminated from the cooking competition.

Contestants Montana, Matt and Michael, struggled to make the honey dessert dish. There was panic in the air as the dish had many complex steps. Even though there were three and a half hours, the time ran fast in the kitchen. Daniel had a good time making the dessert.
When the judges and Donato tasted every contestant’s honey dessert, they loved Daniel’s dish. Donato even said that Daniel made a better gelato than him. The judges also loved Michael’s dish. Montana failed to finish the beehive in her dessert. However, she added all the elements used to prepare it. Despite not serving the complete dessert, the judges enjoyed her dish.

It was an unfortunate day for Matt in the kitchen. His gelato didn’t taste right, and there were some technical errors. Among Matt and Montana, the judges felt that the former’s dish had more errors. Hence, Matt gets eliminated from MasterChef Australia Season 14.
After his elimination, Matt shared on Instagram, “I have absolutely loved every moment in the MC kitchen, but unfortunately it’s the end of my time tonight. I’ll post more about the Masterchef journey and what’s happening next for me in the coming days, but for now, thanks to all those that have supported me along the way. Family, friends, faves, fans, judges, and all those on social media. I’m gonna miss this place.”

The honey dessert was very complicated. However, I always feel that the makers go very tough on the contestants when it comes to dessert dishes. Why can’t there be a pressure test where the contestants feel they’re cooking something and not being a part of some science experiment?
