Eve or Eve’s Scandal (이브의 스캔들) is a 2022 South Korean Romantic Melodrama written by Yoon Young-mi and directed by Park Bong-sub. The drama stars Seo Yea-ji, Park Byung-eun, Lee Sang-yeob and Yoo Sun in leading roles. The series will run for 16 episodes. Eve Episode has a runtime of 59 minutes.

In Eve Episode 1, Kang Yoon-hyeom, the CEO of LY Group is addressing the press at a conference. At the same time, a rumour breaks out about him having an affair with a woman, who is apparently his daughter’s friend’s mother. Kang Yoon-hyeom is married to Han So-ra, the only daughter of the ex-prime minister of the country. He has a daughter named Kang Da-bi. Yoon-hyeom leaves the press conference and visits his mistress, Lee Ra-el.
It is the annual function day at Liyan Kindergarten, a high-profile school which runs on the donation of Han So-ra’s father. At the function, some special performances have been arranged only for the parents including Opera, Orchestra and a Tango performance. The final dance performance impresses everyone as it is performed by one of the parents, Lee Ra-el, mother of Bo-ram. During the entire performance, Ra-el keeps on staring at Yoon-hyeom and he cannot help but feel attracted to her.
The parents welcome Lee Ra-el at the dinner with applause which again gains Yoon-hyeom’s attention. Ra-el purposely tells her daughter to befriend Yoon-hyeom’s daughter. When Ra-el goes out to receive delivery for her, she passes by Yoon-hyeom. She brushes her arm against Yoon-hyeom’s and drops her necklace near him. Ra-el goes outside to find her husband with a bouquet of flowers. She immediately takes him to the dressing room and makes out with him. Yoon-hyeom who had followed Ra-el to return her necklace watches them in shock.
Seo Eun-pyeong is a young assemblyman who has just published a new book for young people. He is humorous and can easily connect with people. He used to be a human rights lawyer but a certain event made him quit and he chose to be in politics. He receives a parcel from the USA from Lee Ra-el and she has sent him money with a letter that says that she has paid him in ten folds for his help.
Eve Episode 1 Ending
LY Group was previously owned by Han So-ra’s father and Yoon-hyeom took over after getting married to So-ra. Lee Ra-el’s father was killed by Ex Prime Minister Han’s men to acquire his company. Ra-el’s family was destroyed in that incident but she was saved by Seo Eun-pyeong, who used to be a human rights lawyer back then. He sends her to the USA with a scholarship but looking at Ra-el makes him realize that he cannot help by just being a lawyer, he also needs power.
While leaving for the USA, Ra-el had promised Eun-pyeong that she will take her revenge against Prime Minister Han and will them pay ten times worse than what she endured.
Eve Episode 1 Review
Eve Episode 1 was all about Seo Yea-ji’s Lee Ra-el. She is a dangerous woman who looks charming, is a great dancer and has a small family. However, she has other intentions. She becomes a different person around Kang Yoon-hyeom and is adamant about seducing him because the only way to get closer to him is through his heart.
