Mashle Season 2 Episode 9 Review and Recap – The Strong Protects The Weak

This episode of Mashle had some of the best fights, and it’s not limited just to Mash. The episode opens up with Innocent Zero versus Headmaster Wahlberg. Innocent Zero knows very well how Headmaster Wahlberg is not that easy to defeat. We even understand how he is one of the best and most treasured students of the legendary magic user Adam Jobs, who had an overwhelming magic ability and reigned as the best magician for many years. He was the one who formed the Bureau of Magic and performed many important duties in society to make magic more accessible.
Adam was someone who was also compassionate towards those who did not have the ability to use magic and provided them with social assistance. And perhaps because of his moto of the strong existing for the weak, Headmaster Wahlberg was so understanding of Mash and accepted him with open arms. Hence, to defeat such a loyal student of someone as powerful as Adam, Innocent Zero summons his biggest and most powerful Trump card, which is the puppet of his past master himself.

Innocent Zero explains he acquired the magic to restore life in a body without the psyche of the person. This means he can use his Master’s powers without any qualms, as Adam himself, is not fighting the fight. And, to perform such an elaborate task, he calls forth another of his followers, Necross Mance.
This fight can only be described as epic as we see just how Goated the headmaster is, who, though faces trouble within the fight, proves age is just a number when it comes to magical prowess.
On the other hand, Mash, too, is facing his enemy, whom he barely remembers. From this interaction, we get to know why Innocent Zero suddenly wants his son back. And, no, it is not out of some fatherly affection towards Mash but rather a very sinister purpose, which, if it comes to fruition, can wreak havoc for everyone. Their fight was funnier than anything, and Mash is really a jokester who does not take anything seriously, even if it is an intense fight.

Verdict
Mashle delivered another very interesting episode which will keep you entertained from the beginning till the end. Though the fight between Headmaster Wahlberg and Innocent Zero was more action-packed, I definitely prefer Mash’s fight with Cell War. Their interaction was one of the funniest, and the way Mash utilises his muscle magic is hilarious.
