Love Never Lies Destination Sardinia (Amor con fianza: Destino Cerdeña) is a Spanish reality TV show hosted by Monica Naranjo. The show dropped 7 episodes on Netflix today.
Love Never Lies Destination Sardinia features six Spanish couples who are separated and sent to 2 different villas. Love Never Lies Destination Sardinia offers a cash prize of 100,000 euros, and the prize goes up or down depending upon the contestants’ honesty during the EyeDetect test.
Love Never Lies Destination Sardinia Episodes
Episode 1 Five and a Half Couples: The first episode of the show introduces the couples to each other. While 5 of the couples are happy with each other, there’s one couple who is currently facing turbulence in their relationship and has come to the show to determine whether they should be together or not. Couples sit through their first EyeDetect test and get to know unknown truths about their partners.

Soon, we see new members joining the members of the First Villa, and this is when the real game begins. Episode 4 An Eye For An Eye: At the ceremony of truth, members from the second villa have strong opinions and new revelations to make. Tables turn when the distractions leave, and villas are swapped. Contestants get a chance to seek revenge on their partners.
Episode 5 Runaway Sara: Once tables turn, it is unbearable for the members to watch their partners have fun with the new distractions. Since the villas swapped, the other party is at the receiving end now, and it is evident that they are not taking the change well.

Episode 7 I Want To Break Free: In what is the last episode of the show for now, ‘The Half Couple,’ Javi and Marie have to leave the villa as Javi realises he is not ready for a closed relationship at the moment. Couples sit through another round of the Ceremony of Truth, and the episode ends at a cliffhanger since some questions need to be answered.

Love Never Lies Destination Sardinia Review
In one line, Love Never Lies Destination Sardinia is a completely staged reality tv show with beautiful beaches, bikini bodies, broken bonds and bombshells. The show’s host Monica Naranjo comes across as a sadist who is testifying and challenging the couples and, in the end, watching them cry.
Honestly, why were the couples even here? What was the point of lying when you knew you were sitting in the EyeDetect test? This is one show which would even break apart the most stable couple in the world. Manipulation is the key aspect of the show.
The makers decided to drop 7 episodes at one time, while the 8th and hopefully the last episode will be dropped on 17th November. Trust me, I’m not waiting for that one.

Lap dances and lost love is what make up most of the show. Sara was the worst contestant. She was there giving away lap dances to all the guys, juggling between multiple men and, in the end, acting like a victim. The series makes you raise your eyebrows at the sheer insanity of people and what they would do to gain sympathy.
This entire show is a mess. It looks like a circus of animals desperate to have sex and cheat on their partners. It is steamy; it is scandalous. The contestants are so fickle-minded I wanted to smash the screen while watching their game. It is completely staged, and except for 2 or 3 contestants, everyone is fake.
Beaches, bikini bodies, nudity, obscenity and whatnot, Netflix has tried it all to gain viewers for this show. But I could not relate to it at any level. Love Never Lies Destination Sardinia is full of fake promises and double-faced people. It is a show you can watch if you have a lot of time and patience and you like drama, but for me, it was a complete waste of time.
Love Never Lies Destination Sardinia is currently streaming on Netflix.
