Korean Dramas Releasing in June 2023: The first half of the year is almost coming to an end and this time has come with more Kdramas that are here to keep us excited. While this month may see the sequels of some of our favourite dramas ending, there are more beginnings to look forward to.

Begin the new drama list with a rom-com to give you tingling moments with a lot of smiles and tears. King the Land is the story of two strangers who come face to face at the VVIP business lounge. While one works over here to relive the happy moments she once had here, the other is a young heir who has been thrown into an inheritance battle.

Directed by Im Hyun-wook, the drama stars Lee Jun-ho, Im Yoon-ah, Go Won-hee, Kim Ga-eun, Ahn Se-ha, and Kim Jae-won, alongside other cast members. The Kdrama is set to broadcast on JTBC and will be available to stream on Netflix.

See You in My 19th Life

This fantasy rom-com has us all excited as it brings the life of the mysterious Ban Ji-eum who has the power to remember all her past lives. The drama brings her story as she sets out to reconnect with the people from her 18th life which had been cut short due to a tragic accident. Will her love from another life rekindle or will she find a new connection?

Directed by Lee Na-jung, the drama stars Shin Hye-sun, Ahn Bo-hyun, Ha Yoon-kyung, Ahn Dong-goo, Kim Shi-ah, and Park So-yi, alongside other cast members. The drama is set to broadcast on tvN and TVING, and will be available for streaming on Netflix.

June 19

Lies Hidden in My Garden

A mystery thriller will always get our curiosity perked up and with Kim Tae-hee and Lim Ji-yeon coming together, there is no way that we are to miss this. The story brings the perfect life of a rich woman who begins investigating her husband after noticing a weird smell coming from her yard. This leads to her meeting a poor woman who struggles with domestic violence. But this meeting has some very big consequences.

Directed by Jung Ji-hyun, the drama stars Kim Tae-hee, Lim Ji-yeon, Kim Sung-oh, and Choi Jae-rim alongside other cast members. The Kdrama is set to broadcast on ENA.

June 23

The Devil

When supernatural events are added to mystery thriller dramas then it is sure to be something that cannot be missed. The plot of this Kdrama revolves around a poor student who has been possessed by a demon. She meets a man who is able to see the demon inside her and recognises it to be the one that killed his mother. How will they get rid of this demon? Are the deaths happening around her the result of this possession?

Directed by Lee Jung-rim and Kim Jae-hong, the drama stars Kim Tae-ri, Oh Jung-se, Hong Kyung, Yang Hye-ji, Kim Shin-bi, and Jin Seon-kyu, alongside other cast members. The Kdrama is set to broadcast on SBS.

June 26

Heartbeat

This fantasy romcom is one to get you laughing for sure and will be the perfect way to end the first half of 2023. The plot revolves around a half-human half-vampire who desperately wants to become a human, however, he fails to do so because of one day. Now, he comes in contact with a stone-faced woman and has to cohabit with her due to certain circumstances.

Directed by Lee Hyun-suk and Lee Min-soo, the drama stars Ok Taec-yeon, Wom Ji-an, Yoon So-hee, Park Kang-hyun, Ham Tae-in, and Go Gyu-pil, alongside other cast members. The drama is set to broadcast on KBS2.
