2023 has given us a lot of good Bollywood movies and web series, and with time, Bollywood has stepped up the game when it comes to OTT. Soon, this week, Jaane Jaan is set to release on Netflix based on the bestselling mystery novel The Devotion of Suspect X. People are eager to see this new mystery thriller with some of the best-known actors and, of course, the director who has created other popular movies like Kahaani, Kahaani 2, and Badla.

If you are planning to watch Jaane Jaan and are wondering what the plot is and who will start in it, this article has everything covered for you.

Jaane Jaan Plot/Synopsis

We have seen a lot of thriller shows with extreme plot twists and intense characters dealing with something or hiding their true selves, but they do not always succeed when it comes to critics. In Jaane Jaan trailer, we learn that the story is set in the hill town of Kalimpong. Kareena plays Maya D’Souza, who has just moved into the flat next door to Jaideep Ahlawat, who plays the character Naren and also has a secret crush on Maya. Maya’s neighbour Naren suspects she may be in an abusive relationship since she sees signs of it, and the trailer paints him as a disturbing stalker.

Jaane Jaan Still 1

Vijay portrays the police officer Karan, who arrives in Kalimpong in search of Maya’s missing husband and falls in love with her. With old friends Naren and Karan, he asks Naren about his “hot padosi,” who also happens to be the main target of his inquiry. It also shows that Maya is trying to seduce both Naren and Karan to get away with the case while also trying to protect a girl. The mystery of the story shows the intensity of love and hate as killing a person is compared with a cockroach in the trailer, and it seems like Naren already knows about the murder.
