Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Cast: A Guide to Every New Character of Shibuya Arc

The new season of the sorcery series has taken over the anime world and that is all the fans are currently talking about. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 cast ranges from many new characters to the familiar ones which we have encountered before. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 (呪術廻戦 or Sorcery Fight) is directed by Sunghoo Park and is animated under MAPPA Studio. With Sayaka Koiso and Tadashi Hiramatsu designing the characters, Yoshimasa Terui is the sole composer of the series. Tatsuya Kitani performed the opening theme, Where Our Blue Is (青のすみか), while Soushi Sakiyama performed the ending theme, Light (燈).

The anime is scheduled for two cours, the first five episodes will adapt the manga’s Hidden Inventory arc, and the eighteen other episodes will showcase the Sibuya arc. Licensed under Crunchyroll, the episodes will be available with English subtitles, and the dubbed version will be released later on.

Based on the manga series of the same name by Gege Akutami, the story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host. However, the new season will consist of various aspects of the story which the audience has been wondering about. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Cast

Gojo Satoru

One of the key characters in the Jujutsu Kaisen series is Gojo. He is the strongest man in the jujutsu realm and a special-grade jujutsu sorcerer. Satoru, the first person to inherit both the Limitless and the Six Eyes in four hundred years, is the pride of the Gojo Family. He employs his position of power to safeguard and develop dependable young allies while working as a teacher at the Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Yuji Itadori

Yuji Itadori is the main character of the show. After he consumes one of Sukuna’s finger, he becomes the cursed spirit’s host. After becoming the vessel, he started attending the Tokyo Jujutsu High. He plays a key role in the new season.

Toji Fushiguro/Zenin

Toji who is born in the Zenin clan the infamous assassin known as the Sorcerer Killer. Moreover, he was the father of Megumi Fushiguro. He plays the role of the primary antagonist in Gojo’s past arc.

Suguru Geto

Satoru Gojo, Shoko Ieiri, and Geto were all former students of Masamichi Yaga’s at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Suguru killed more than a hundred non-sorcerers in a single night as a result of an incident that was caused by his experiences as a jujutsu sorcerer. He was expelled from Jujutsu HS and earned the reputation of being the worst curser.

Mahito

One of the main foes in the Jujutsu Kaisen series is Mahito. He is an unregistered special-grade cursed spirit. He also serves as the group’s head, overseeing Jogo, Hanami, and Dagon. His group’s ultimate objective is to wipe off humanity and eventually replace it with cursed spirits.

Jogo

A significant adversary in the Jujutsu Kaisen series is Jogo (Jgo?). He was a particular grade-cursed spirit of undeclared alignment with Mahito, Hanami, and Dagon. Jogo envisioned a society in which his kind ruled the planet and thought that curses were the real humanity.

Choso

A supporting figure in the Jujutsu Kaisen series is named Choso. He is incarnated with Kechizu and Eso, his two brothers, in Cursed Womb: Death Paintings. He uses his innate technique, Blood Manipulation against his enemies.

Hanami

The series of Jujutsu Kaisen features an antagonist named Hanami (Hanami?). He was a particular grade cursed spirit of undeclared alignment with Jogo, Dagon, and Mahito. Hanami was created out of a dread of land-based natural disasters and a desire to purge humanity from the planet for their abuse of the environment.

Kenjaku

Kenjaku is one of the primary antagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is an ancient curse user who has existed for over a thousand years using his innate technique, which allows him to transplant his brain into other people to control them. He has inhabited different individuals throughout the centuries and assumed their identities.

Uraume

A recurrent foe in the Jujutsu Kaisen series is Uraume. They are a former user of curses who serves as Sukuna’s direct subordinate. For the purpose of sealing Satoru Gojo and reviving Sukuna, they joined forces with Kenjaku.

Dagon

Haruta Shigemo

Haruta Shigemo is a recurring antagonist in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He was a curse user aligned with Uraume and Kenjaku’s group of evil sorcerers. Shigemo played a role in both the invasion of Jujutsu High’s Goodwill Event and the Shibuya Incident.
