It’s time to celebrate because the much-awaited Jawan Trailer is now out! Shah Rukh Khan fans have been eagerly waiting for the trailer after the mind-blowing Prevue and songs that were released earlier. The film is directed by Atlee Kumar and also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Yogi Babu, Sunil Grover, Riddhi Dogra, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Leher Khan and Deepika Padukone (special appearance).
As seen in the Jawan Trailer, SRK has donned multiple looks for the film. During his #AskSRK session on Saturday, the superstar revealed that the film is about women for men to watch. Well, that’s clearly seen in the trailer as his character works with some fierce women. The trailer has everything one expected – great talent, massive action scenes, excellent music, and lots of drama and suspense.
In the Jawan trailer, Shah Rukh Khan tells us the story of a king who kept winning the fights and was wandering in a forest, filled with rage. Well, when he bounces back, he causes chaos and trouble. By donning different avatars, he’s fighting with his strong girl gang. Nayanthara is assigned the task of bringing him down. But as Sunil Grover’s character says, everyone is a fan of him.
We finally get to know who Vijay Sethupathi plays. He plays the bad guy Kaali, who won’t stop at anything. Vijay looks like a classic scary villain in the bearded look. There’s also a flirtatious glimpse of SRK-Deepika. As the synopsis mentions, it’s an emotional story of a man who wants to rectify societal wrongs. We can’t wait to be invested in these emotions and the revenge of these characters!
While the trailer is magnificent, Anirudh Ravichander’s background music composition amps up the excitement and mood. Listening to the high-powered background music in several effective and punchy scenes on the big screen will be a fantastic experience. Zinda Banda and Chaleya songs are already getting immense love. On Tuesday, the third song, called Ramaiya Vastavaiya also dropped, and SRK and Nayanthara’s chemistry in it is to die for!
Atlee is not only known for making entertaining movies with good messages but also for high-octane action sequences. In his first Hindi film, he brought his direction style while adding the flavour of mass Hindi cinema. The director treated Shah Rukh Khan fans with action and combat scenes that will bring a lot of cheer and whistles in the theatres.

On Wednesday, the team hosted a Jawan Pre-Release event in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, which was attended by the star cast, except Nayanthara. At the pre-release event, SRK, Atlee, Vijay, and Anirudh were all praises for each other. Anirudh even sang the Zinda Banda song on the stage, and SRK joined him, and the duo did the hookstep together. The film has helped these artists to build a bond beyond work, which was quite heartwarming to see.
Jawan is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment (Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma). It is all set to hit the theatres on September 7, 2023. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
