The third song from Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan film is now out. Titled Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya, it’s a vibrant dance number that instantly makes you groove. SRK had teased about the song with promos earlier, flaunting his amazing dance moves. If you have loved the teasers, the entire music video will definitely become your new favourite.
Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya is composed and sung by Anirudh Ravichander, and the lyrics are penned by Kumaar. Singers Vishal Dadlani and Shilpa Rao have also lent their voice to the foot-tapping dance number. It is choreographed by the very talented Vaibhavi Merchant. The entire set-up, SRK’s dance movies, the music, Khan’s hair and charm instantly captivate your mind.
Taking to the dance floor, Khan’s infectious energy is bound to get his fans smiling like there’s no tomorrow. Donning a black attire first, he breaks a leg in his solo intro dance break, and is later joined by Nayanthara as the two show off their charming chemistry. Having an otherwise power-packed choreography, the song’s moves are likely to catch on instantly and become your favourite.
As always, SRK has yet again emerged as an “emotion” for his fans all over the world. His charisma, elegance, rambunctious energy and timeless presence is a leading force for the song, but he’s not alone in this mission. The video ends with a silhouetted vision of the whole team of women playing pivotal roles in the movie. In their high-octane stance, the squad (including Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak and others) assumes a firm stance and closes the dance video on a fiery note, hinting at the group’s eventual team-up in the movie as suggested by its brief plot summary so far.
The lines ‘pehle kiya chaiyya chaiyya re, ab kare ta ta thaiyya… ramayia vastavayia… ramayia vastavaiya’ are already a hit ever since the promo dropped. Watching Shah Rukh Khan groove with so much energy and enthusiasm has increased expectations for the trailer and film. Yesterday, the actor shared a witty tweet praising the choreographer and the composer while commenting on his dancing skills.
SRK had tweeted, “This is ‘Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya….‘ want to thank @VMVMVMVMVM for bearing with my two left feet. And of course the talented @anirudhofficial.” We wonder what made the superstar say he has two left feet because he is one of the most remarkable dancers in the Hindi film industry. From Chaiyya Chaiyya to Kaal Dhamaal to Zinda Banda, Shah Rukh has danced his heart out and delivered the best.

Meanwhile, the makers will also release the Jawan Trailer this week. Fans have been requesting Khan to drop the trailer ASAP, and it will be finally unveiled on August 31, 2023. The trailer will also be played at Burj Khalifa. About the same, the Pathaan actor had tweeted, “Jawan ka jashn main aapke saath na manau yeh ho nahin sakta. Aa raha hoon main Burj Khalifa on 31st August at 9 PM and celebrate JAWAN with me. And since love is the most beautiful feeling in the world, toh pyaar ke rang mein rang jao and lets wear red…what say? READYYYY!”
Directed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani and Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance). The film will release in theatres on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
