Class of 09 Episode 3 Ending Explained: The latest episode of the Hulu on FX series has viewers with more questions than answers at this point. Titled Thank You for Not Driving, the episode is directed by Amanda Marsalis and written by Tom Rob Smith.
Class of 09 is created by Tom Rob Smith with each episode having a runtime of 40-50 minutes. It is produced by FX Productions and Color Force by executive producers Tom Rob Smith, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson and Nellie Reed. The cast stars Brian Tyree Henry as Tayo Miller, Kate Mara as Ashley Poet, Raúl Castillo as Amos, Jake McDorman as Murphy, Sepideh Moafi as Hour, Brian J. Smith as Lennix, Jon Jon Briones as Gabriel, Brooke Smith as Drew, Rosalind Eleazar as Vivienne, Briar Boggs as Henry Lee and Mark Pellegrino as Mark Tupirik.
Class of 09 Episode 3 Ending Explained
In Class of 09 Episode 3, we see Tayo turn to Hour in the hope of using Better Life to help him locate Tupirik. Although it is unauthorized, Hour is very enthusiastic to help Tayo in his pursuit, much to Poet’s dismay. Better Life is able to successfully locate the criminal in hiding. We see Tayo get a hold of Tupirik. The latter insists that no matter what his arrest is not going to change the result of the big plan that is already set in motion.

The final act of the episode is when we move to the future and see Poet trying to understand what Amos was trying to convey to her before he died. It is a difficult task for her but, soon enough she is able to make the connection that Amos’ death is connected to Better Life and, that the database is much more than what it was initially designed to be.
To really know the truth behind Amos’ death, Poet recollects the card that he gave her and visits his house. Yes, it is the same house where Amos was killed. She finds a room that has computer screens for walls and, finds a slot where she can put in the card and play it. Amos appears on the screen to reveal the truth that we have all expected but, needed to be sure of.
In the video, Amos tells Poet that Better Life no longer needs human intervention and, is working independently at this point when it comes to criminal profiling and catching them. The AI has a mind of its own and has developed at an extremely advanced level. Better Life is the one making the calls for justice and is no longer really helping the FBI but, making a path for its destruction. Thus, Poet decides to inform and convince Tayo about discontinuing the use of Better Life, which might just be our food for the next episode.
