High Heat (Donde hubo fuego) is an upcoming Mexican action-adventure crime drama series, which is coming on Netflix this month. The series is created by José Ignacio Valenzuela and is said to have at least 10 episodes. It will follow Poncho, whose brother’s murder leads him to become a firefighter in search of answers.
But once on the inside, he finds romance, surprising connections, and deadly consequences. The released trailer gives it telenovela vibes and by the looks of it, we can expect lots of drama, shocking revelations about things that happened in the past and the truth that nobody would have guessed.

High Heat Plot/Synopsis
The official synopsis of the series reads, “When clues to his brother’s murder lead Poncho to the fire brigade, he joins it to investigate further and finds romance, family… and a serial killer.” Poncho discovers his brother’s body and following the clues of the crime, finds a barrack of firefighters in a neighbourhood in Mexico City.
Using a false identity, he gets a job as a firefighter. He meets Olivia, another firefighter and the only person who will discover his secret and help him get to the truth. At the same time, Ricardo, an ex-convict accused of murdering several women, returns to try to find his son who does not know of his existence.
