Heartbeat Episode 7 Stills: Ok Taec-yeon, Won Ji-an Wear Their Hearts on Their Sleeves; Shrimp Has a Hold Over the Dear Vampire

New Heartbeat Episode 7 stills have unleashed a million thoughts in the minds of the Korean drama series’ avid lovers. Ok Taec-yeon and Won Ji-an’s fantasy romantic comedy (가슴이 뛴다) has a strong hold over the general public nowadays, and for all the right reasons. Directed by Lee Hyun-seok and Lee Min-soo, the KBS show also stars Park Kang-hyun and Yoon So-hee in pivotal roles.

The previous episode that came out on July 10, 2023, also entangled the leading pair in a case of love and jealousy, as love triangles brewed up more chaos and lighthearted confusions. The South Korean TV network KBS has released some novel previews of the upcoming episode prior to its premiere tonight. Several stills catch the leading cast members in diverse situations that bring together an ensemble of both human beings and endearing vampires.

Still from the new episode’s promo.

Playing the titular loving hybrid vampire in the lot, 2PM Taecyeon’s Seon Woo-hyul and Ji-an’s Joo In-hae, a cold-hearted nurse are now getting closer to each other as the episodes fly by. Despite the former’s initial plans of pushing for Do-sik and In-hae’s relationship in order for the path to be cleared off for him to tread closer to his human dreams, Episode 6’s twist had him experiencing out of the box emotions about their connection too. Could it be that he’s developing feelings for In-hae? It’s bound to happen eventually, better sooner than later, I suppose.

The brand new sneak peeks of the forthcoming seventh entry to the season has again teased something along the same line. Other than the coveted pair, a different set of pictures has also captured Ji-an and Do-sik bonding on their new project together, as Taecyeon’s Woo-hyul wistfully looks at Ji-an from afar. Yet another photo has snapped the whole gang all gathered together for lunch, while a plater served hot with shrimp enraptures Woo-hyul, who already seems to be drunk on the dish.

Woo-hyul’s supportive vampire squad also accompanies him in one of these previews. Yoon Byung-hee plays Lee Sang-hae and Ko Kyu-pil dons the role of Park Dong-seob in the same team with a hairdo identical to that of the children’s cartoon character Dora the Explorer, which has further induced some laughs among the audience.
