Extraordinary Attorney Woo (이상한 변호사 우영우) is a Korean legal series that revolves around a lawyer with an autism spectrum disorder. The story follows her journey as she steps into one of the biggest law firms, taking up cases that she resolves in her own peculiar way. The Korean drama is directed by Yoo In-shik and written by Moon Ji-won, starring Park Eun-bin, Kang Tae-oh, Kang Ki-young, Baek Ji-won, alongside other cast members.
The 16 episodes show premiered on June 29, 2022, and releases new episodes every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30 pm KST. Extraordinary Attorney Woo episode 11 has a run time of 72 minutes.

-Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 11 Recap Contains Spoilers-
Love is in the air in Extraordinary Attorney Woo episode 11, as Woo Young-woo can’t help but recall the kiss as she waits for Lee Jun-ho near the doors of the building. But having finally met him, she has to rush to meet a client. A new case is about a man who invested in lottery tickets together with two others but when one of them gets the winning ticket, he denies ever promising to share the money.
He has come to Hanbada along with his wife who is indirectly connected to Jung Myung-seok, and asks for their help. But, gambling is illegal and any promise made will be void by law. Also, he doesn’t have a written agreement or any other anything to prove that the promise was made. The case is challenging, but the two are desperate to fight.
In the evening, Dong Geurami talks about Kim Min-shik’s blind date with Choi Soo-yeon which was a big fail because of his jokes. However, Woo Young-woo finds those jokes funny as she keeps asking for more. The next day, she goes to the gambling den to question a worker who could be a possible witness of the promise that was made.

Later at Hanbada, Woo Young-woo stares at Lee Jun-ho from her office window which first scares him but then makes him smile. He goes towards her office but before he could enter someone stops him and asks about a case. However, the two still share a beautiful moment.
At the trial, the defence lawyer put up his case and tells that the defendant denies making any promise and there is no evidence to prove the existence of the promise. Jung Myung-seok then says that the promise did exist and wants to bring up his witness however, Lee Jun-ho tells him that the witness has run away. After the trial, the plaintiffs want to make a witness of their own but are met with strong opposition from Woo Young-woo.
Later that evening, she is in her office while working on this case when she calls Lee Jun-ho. She tells him that she missed him and wanted to see him after which she wants to disconnect the call but Lee Jun-ho stops her. She then tells him some jokes which makes them share a laugh, after which she tells him that he is not a whale and yet he keeps popping up in her mind.

The next day at the trial, Jung Myung-seok is able to present a witness with the help of the plaintiffs, but things don’t seem right. Soo, Woo Young-woo witnesses a secret signal shared between the witness and one of the plaintiffs. Elsewhere, Hwan Min-woo has found something between Tae Soo-mi and Woo Young-woo.
Back at home, Woo Hwang-ho is thinking about taking up Tae Soo-mi’s offer to move to Boston. He asks Woo Young-woo if she ever wanted professional help and she agrees that there was indeed a time when she would have appreciated a little advice. The verdict of the trial is out and the plaintiffs win their share of the money.

The next day, the plaintiff comes to Woo Young-woo’s office to thank her with a gift, but she declines it so he gives her the gimbap made by his wife. He then asks about the division of property during a divorce and if the lottery money would be included as well. She is able to sniff something and hurries to discuss this with Choi Soo-yeon during lunch.
However, as she cannot reveal the information, Choi Soo-yeon creates the characters Mr Salt for the man, Ms Pepper for his wife and Attorney Soy Sauce for Woo Young-woo. She is then able to explain the situation and comes to the conclusion that she wants to warn Ms Pepper but cannot do it as Mr Salt was her client. She goes to Jung Myung-seok to discuss this but he tells her that she cant do that as it is against the law. He then asks where the inflexible Woo Young-woo has gone but then she points at the gimbap and gets an idea.
Woo Young-woo then goes to the woman with the reason that she is going to buy gimbap, but there she sees the man destroying his wife’s store. After he leaves, she goes inside and decides to be flexible as she indirectly warns the woman about the upcoming divorce.

Elsewhere, Choi Soo-yeon is having a nice date but gets to know that the man is actually a scammer who takes money from the women he dates. She angrily storms off from there with an expensive bottle of alcohol that she makes him pay for.
The next day, the woman comes to Hanbada and tells them that her husband wants to get a divorce after getting the lottery money and has been abusing her and the children. Woo Young-woo asks her if she has any proof that her husband promised to give her the lottery money. She tells them that after Woo Young-woo’s warning she tried to get the proof but her husband didn’t let her get anything. Jung Myung-seok then tells her to go to another lawyer as her husband was their client and suggests someone else.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 11 Ending
She thanks the two and goes back along with Woo Young-woo and Lee Jun-ho who have come to buy gimbap. On the way, she spots her husband who wants to get her to sign the divorce papers and leaves from there. Seeing this, her husband goes inside his car and tries to follow them but is hit by a truck and dies on spot.

She rushes to her husband while Woo Young-woo gets an anxiety attack. Lee Jun-ho rushes to her and hugs her from behind to relieve the anxiety. A few days later, the two walk back after attending the funeral and discuss how the money was inherited by his wife and children, thus going back to its rightful place.
Woo Young-woo then thanks Lee Jun-ho for helping relieve her anxiety and the latter assures her that he is there for her whenever she needs it. Once again kissing her, however, this time Woo Young-woo’s father sees the two.
At Taesan, Hwan Min-woo has come to visit Tae Soo-mi and tells her that he wants to work at her law firm. He then talks about the connection between her and Woo Young-woo and wants the job to keep his mouth shut. However, Tae Soo-mi tells him that knowing secrets is not enough and he has to be capable as well. In order to prove his capability, he has to make Woo Young-woo quite Hanbada.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 11 Review
This episode was happy, sweet, informative and real. The sweet moments shared between Woo Young-woo and Lee Jun-ho are like no other and these moments add to the list of what makes this show so unique. Their little interactions that make him smile wide, and his caring side that supports her like a rock make this show so special.
Woo Young-woo learnt another skill today and that is being flexible with the situation. She changed a lot in this episode and this is something that we shouldn’t miss out on.
This show has been teaching us about autism spectrum disorder, and the lives of the people who live with them, but today was about how to care for them in such situations. Just like any other emergency care, this is also something we should know about and I have a feeling that Lee Jun-ho has been researching to be able to help Woo Young-woo. He is her therapy.
Today we saw a reality that exists in society and karma that never fails to deliver its effect. Mr Salt became a disappointment in the middle of the episode and we know that these men exist. They only think about themselves and not of the people who have always been for them. A real scum of a man. But that doesn’t mean that there is no one watching this, maybe that is why he was hit in his brand new car and the total sum from his share went to his wife and children.
Another point to add is my disappointment towards Tae Soo-mi. I expected better but I must have understood from her offer last week that she wants the father and daughter very far away from her sight. Things are going to get hard for these two but I hope that they are able to make it through this challenge.

I enjoyed the episode and was relieved when the wife got her money, but couldn’t help feel that the husband in a fatal car accident was too deus ex machina for me… It would be interesting if the writers revisited that part in a future episode, but with only a few episodes left, I really doubt that would be the case.
