Erax: All to Know About Netflix’s Latest Fantasy Drama

Among all the new romantic and dramas about to release on Netflix in the month of February, they are now all set to release short film delving into the genre of Fantasy and Mystery, with Erax. If you are planning to watch it, we have shared some details about it

It is a children’s film much like Netflix’s popular monster adventure film A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting. The movie showed a high schooler battling the Boogeyman to rescue a kid she was babysitting. The story had slimy monsters to thrilling adventures. Like them, this short film will also feature rowdy monsters and mysterious creatures.

Erax Cast:

The fantasy drama cast includes Jasmine Cephas Jones and Genesis White, they play Auntie Opal and Nina respectively. The cast also includes Lance Gross whose character has not yet been revealed.

Erax Plot/ Synopsis:

This mysterious fantasy drama story circles around Auntie Opal and her niece Nina, who are having a sleepover. While browsing, they come across a book that they start to explore. This accidentally opens up a portal releasing the mythical and dangerous Erax creatures. Now it is up to them to return the monsters back where they came from before they disrupt anything and make a ruckus. They are seen to have escaped from the book and are to be returned there before they cause any damage.

As it is a fifteen-minute short film, Netflix decided to release a short clip rather than giving away everything in the trailer. You can check it out here. It is all set to release on February 17, 2022, and it will be a fun, light watch for all fantasy lovers and a break from all the romantic stories being released on Netflix this Valentine’s week.

It is directed by Hebru Brantley and written by Henry G.M. Jones. You can watch the fantasy drama only on Netflix.
