Dr Stone Season 3 Episode 18 Preview: Dr Stone (ドクターストーン) is an animation series based on the manga of the same name written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by the South Korean artist Boichi. After a blinding green light strikes the Earth and petrifies mankind around the world—turning every single human into stone, humanity goes back in time. Years of civilisation have disappeared, and the only hope to rebuild it is in the hands of a brilliant scientist, Senku.
The opening theme is Haruka (遥か) performed by Ryujin Kiyoshi while the ending theme is Suki ni Shinayo (好きにしなよ) performed by Anly for Dr Stone New World Cour 2. From studios of TMS Entertainment, the show is produced by TOHO Animation, Shueisha and 8PAN. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.

Dr Stone: New World Part 2 will cover the “New World” arc from the manga series. The story continues to follow Senku, who manages to create the Nitric acid again with the help of platinum. The acid is the only way to free the world from the stone age. However, during his journey, he also finds out the source of the green light that is responsible for the petrification. Will Senku be able to save the world with the help of science?

The main character of the story is Senku, a brilliant scientist. Citizens of the Kingdom of Science include Kohaku, Chrome, Kinro, Ginro, Suika, Gen Asagiri, Kaseki, Magma, and more. Senku’s old friends Taiju Oki and Yuzuriha Ogawa have also joined the cast. Characters from Empire of Might include Tsukasa, Ukyo Saionji, Minami Hokutozai, Yo Uei and more. Ryusui Nanami is the latest addition to the team, who is an expert sailor.

In the next episode, after securing the Medusa, the Kingdom of Science will take on Ibara. Moreover, after freeing the true master from the stone form and attaining peace in the village. However, it will be interesting to notice how the story unfolds.

In the previous episode, Senku and his friends successfully push everyone from the boat with his science tricks and secure the location. However, Moz follows them from a nearby boat and Ibara also arrives alongside him. However, Senku has another trick up his sleeve and frees Hyoga from his stone form. But it was a gamble from his side as he did not know if Hyohga would support them or Moz. On the other hand, Yuziraha manages to stick the pieces of the true master’s stone form and brings it for everyone to see.
Kirisame notices the statue and realises that Ibara is lying to them. When she tries to grab the Medusa Ibara turns her into stone. However, Uei grabs the gun and shoots Ibara and manages to secure the Medusa.
