Dr Romantic Season 3 Overview

Dr Romantic season 3 (낭만닥터 김사부3) is the latest season of the romance medical Kdrama of the same name directed by Yoo In-shik. The show stars Han Seok-kyu, Lee Sung-kyung, Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Joo-heon, So Ju-yeon, and Jin Kyung, alongside other cast members.

The new season brings the grand opening of Doldam Trauma Centre but with new challenges as Kim Sa-bu and his team face them in their professional and personal lives. As the scale of incidents and accidents that the hospital has to manage, the team has to provide top-quality care for their patients.

Dr Romantic season 3 takes over SBS’s Friday-Saturday 10 PM KST timeslot previously occupied by Taxi Driver season 2.

Dr Romantic Season 3 Plot

Disney+ synopsis of the show reads: “At Doldam, a small countryside hospital, Kim Sa-bu works with passionate young doctors and treats various patients, delivering healing to many.”

Directed by Yoo In-shik, the Kdrama stars Han Seok-kyu, Lee Sung-kyung, Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Joo-heon, So Ju-yeon, and Jin Kyung, alongside other cast members.

Dr Romantic Season 3 Episode 2 Recap

Episode 2 brings more pressure on Sa-bu as the North Korean delegation refuses to take part in peace talks until the defectors are sent back. With time until midnight, Sa-bu decides to take on performing surgery on the second patient, unaware that trouble awaits him.

On the other hand, one of the defectors causes problems as he attacks one of the officers and goes on to capture Dong-hwa. Woo-jin comes in time to save him while elsewhere the surgery continues. However, a sudden power cut creates panic everywhere, while Sa-bu stops the others from panicking during the surgery, Woo-jin takes this as an opportunity to save Dong-hwa.

The power is soon brought back and the chaos soon ends, but the defectors are taken away at midnight. Sa-bu tells Woo-jin to not think too much about this and carry on, everyone is confused by his behaviour. However, it is soon revealed that Sa-bu played a hand behind the scenes and saved the 2 children and the patient.

As more members come back, new faces are recruited by Sa-bu, unaware that Jin-man has put forward a condition if he wants Min-guk to hire him.
