The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon invited BTS’ Suga on its latest episode for a quick chat, where he shared all about his album and the ongoing tour. While K-pop mega group is usually seen together on these shows, recently another member of the group, Jimin also guested to promote his latest album.
Suga made his solo comeback recently with the title track Haegeum which has been topping the charts since its release. Taking note of that, the host brought a literal Haegeum, which is a Korean traditional instrument, to play. While the singer-songwriter explained that the word also means to get liberation from the things that shackle you.
He did give it a try to play the instrument but not being familiar with it, he was not able to, while Fallon attempted to give it a try & failed miserably to even imitate the band playing in the background. Apart from it, his album D-Day included 10 tracks in total. They were D-DAY, 해금 (Haegeum), HUH?! (feat. j-hope), AMYGDALA, SDL, People Pt 2 (feat IU), 극야 (Geugya), Interlude: Dawn, Snooze (feat Ryuichi Sakamoto and Woosung of The Rose) and the last one was Life Goes On.

Moving on to his newly released documentary on Disney+, Suga: Road to D-DAY, Fallon shared how it shows the whole behind-the-scenes process of putting the album together. He further asked that in order to capture it all, he must have many cameras on him at all times. Then does it bother him, to live in front of a camera lens or he has gotten used to it?
At first, the BTS member gave a smirking smile, trying to gather his thoughts but soon gives a pretty simple answer that he had shot many documentaries in his career as a K-pop group member & doesn’t feel uncomfortable around cameras anymore. People who are fans of the group or have been following the K-pop scene would know that the idols often capture a lot of content as a fan service & promotion, thus a documentary like this would feel pretty normal to Suga as well.
He then cleverly points out the irony of the situation as many cameras are shooting him at the moment for the show. At which the host showed a small clip from the documentary, leading to the live performance of the title track, which had everything from lasers, dancing and obviously Agust D’s tongue technology.
