Demon Slayer Season 4 Episode 6 Recap

This episode didn’t advance the plot much, but it provided an in-depth look at Tanjiro’s training with the strongest Hashira, Himejima. Tanjiro is joined by his friends, Zenitsu and Inosuke, as they face the formidable training regimen set by Himejima. Known for his tough methods, Himejima is a challenging mentor for several reasons.

Himejima’s reticent nature means he doesn’t provide detailed explanations, merely issuing commands without elaborating on how to accomplish them. Additionally, he seems unaware of the disparity between his immense strength and that of others, assigning tasks that are nearly impossible for less powerful demon slayers. The training begins with cold plunges under a waterfall in winter, followed by lifting three massive logs, and culminates in pushing a boulder twice one’s height a distance of 358 feet.

Fortunately, Himejima deemed one step too dangerous and omitted it: roasting the demon slayers with fire from below. This insane regimen shocks Zenitsu into disbelief, leading to some humorous moments. Despite the overwhelming demands, everyone perseveres. Even the energetic Inosuke admits it’s too much, while Tanjiro continues with determination.

Meanwhile, the episode also touches on the activities of the 4th Kizuki, Nakime, who is fervently searching for any clues about Ubuyashiki and Nezuko.

Overall, this episode blends intense training sequences with moments of humour and determination, highlighting the characters’ resilience.

Demon Slayer Season 4 Episode 7 Preview And Predictions

In the next episode, we might see Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke together completing their training with Himejima. Tanjiro will be able to complete his training, but I am not sure whether Zenitsu or Inosuke will be able to complete it. We might also see Nezuko and see her being protected by other Hashiras.
