Daemons of the Shadow Realm Episode 6 Review: The Action Became The Highlight

Daemons of the Shadow Realm Episode 6 Review: The episode dives deeper into the chaos surrounding the characters. While intense battles dominate much of the story, emotional moments also shed light on Asa’s painful past and lingering fears. Mysterious forces operating behind the scenes continue to manipulate events, hinting at a much larger conspiracy.

What was the situation with Gabby?

Gabby and her demons were not under any stress at all, as they were the problems for their enemies in the first place. They completely decimate the daemons that come their way and then go on to kill many more. It becomes clear that Gabby is definitely one of the strongest characters in this anime. She is also very attached to her daemons and becomes very violent to those who do not respect them.

What happens after all the characters get cornered?

Here, after Asa and Yuru face off against a demon, they, along with Right and Left, get sucked in as well. Weirdly enough, Asa ends up with Right, and Yuru ends up with Left. Here we get to know something very interesting, which is that Right is a natural enemy for Asa. This is because Right managed to neutralise Asa’s ability “Break”. According to Asa, Right and Left can stop “Break” and “Seal” from getting out of control. Based on this theory, it means that if Yuru acquires the power of “Seal,” Left will be his natural enemy.

Did Asa suffer from some sort of trauma?

It has been very apparent from the beginning that Asa was not treated well in the village. She was confined to a space and left alone. Perhaps that is why she was taken out by her parents. Here as well, we see that she is not comfortable staying alone in the dark. Right reassures her when she feels scared. Later, she revealed that she had been targeted for assassination by the very village that Yuru still loves.

What happens after Asa comes out of the daemons’ barrier?

After Asa comes out, she makes a bond with the daemons that captured her and lets Yuru out as well. They try to capture the people who invaded the ground, and they managed to get one of them talking. He then explains how he got money from unknown people to do the job and has no idea about anything else.

They were paid to kidnap the twins; other than that, they know nothing.

What was the highlight of this episode?

The highlight of this episode was definitely the action. The fight sequences were designed very nicely here, and we also saw Yuru in proper action. He is an exceptional archer, and his archery skills are genuinely scary. He also has the essence of a hunter, which makes him one of the most formidable characters in this show.

What worked and what did not work?

I actually really like this episode, maybe even more than the previous ones. Here, we got good action, and at the same time, some important information about the lore. Hopefully, they will maintain this pace.
