The present-day scene then shows Nam and her family struggling with their emotions as they wait for Hae-e to recover. Choi, being the caring person he is, postpones all his work-related things to be with Nam and her family. However, this decision leads to a heated argument between him and his assistant, who quits his job after making an insensitive comment about Nam and her niece.
The episode also highlights the emotional impact of the accident on Nam’s brother, who is shown to be deeply connected with Hae-e. His breakdown is heart-wrenching and makes the viewers empathize with his pain.
What makes this episode stand out is the character revelation of Choi’s assistant. Crash Course in Romance Episode 14 Review
Episode 14 of Crash Course in Romance is a well-executed episode that perfectly captures the emotional turmoil that the characters are going through after the tragic accident of Hae-e. The episode not only focuses on the aftermath of the accident but also touches upon the tension between Choi and his assistant Ji-Dong hui.
The flashbacks of the accident provide a better understanding of what happened to Hae-e before the accident, which leads to an emotional scene with Nam and the entire family. Thereby highlighting the family dynamics of the show.
The acting performances in the episode are also commendable. The way Nam’s brother portrays his emotions and grief is so raw and real that it makes for the highlight of the episode. The chemistry between Nam and Choi is still as strong as ever, and the way they support each other in times of crisis is heartwarming.
