Homicide for the Holidays is an American television series that is aired by Oxygen Network each year right around the time between Thanksgiving to Christmas and, sometimes ever, New Year. The show documents the crimes that are specifically committed during the holiday time, thus, the name and the time it airs. It came out first in 2016 with the episode titled A Deadly Thanksgiving and, has successfully completed four seasons! The fifth season is en route with the first episode scheduled to release around the last two weeks of November.

The Devil Next Door

War crimes are often either overlooked or hugely concentrated on. This show remarkably does the latter where you are left with food for thought and, during Christmas, enough important topics of discussion to keep going during the evening dinner.

The Devil Next Door is about John Demjanjuk who was accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity, while during his time as a guard at a Nazi extermination camp during World War II. There are a total of five episodes and is a perfect binge-worthy watch. It is presently streaming on Netflix.
