Chris Pratt on Thor-Star Lord’s Equation in Thor: Love and Thunder, “Taika Waititi Takes It Really in Its Own Direction”

We are just 2 weeks away from the release of Thor: Love and Thunder. Directed by Taika Waititi, the film stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Chris Pratt, Tessa Thompson, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Christian Bale and several others. Pratt will play Star-Lord/Peter Quill in the third Thor movie. The story is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

At the end of the Endgame, Thor travels in the same ship with the Guardians of the Galaxy. We see Star-Lord feeling a bit jealous of Thor. It was a humorous sequence. Star-Lord and his gang will appear in Love and Thunder, and we might see more of the duo. On the red carpet of the Thor 4 premier, Pratt was asked about the bond we will get to see between the two superheroes.

Chris Pratt said, “We’ll see. It was a fun thing when we did it with the Russo Brothers directing us on Avengers: Endgame. I thought it was a lot of fun. Taika takes it really in its own direction here in Love and Thunder. I am very curious to see myself what’s assembled because obviously, we know what we did. But you know how Marvel is. They won’t even let us know what’s going on. So, I am about to go in this theatre and find out what the hell we did.”

The Terminal List actor also praised Chris Hemsworth for portraying God of Thunder in the upcoming MCU film. Pratt says that Hemsworth did a fantastic job and looks incredible. About Christian Bale, Chris says, “I’m very excited to see him as the God slayer.”
