No Regrets in Life (Love Happened in Three Days, 愛情發生在三天後) is a Taiwanese romance-drama TV series directed by Fung Kai and starring Annie Chen, Liu Guan Ting, Shih Ming-shuai, Summer Meng, JC Lin, and Aggie Hsieh, alongside other cast members. The series will be 13 episodes long, airing new episodes every Saturday from June 18, 2022. No Regrets in Life episode 2 has a runtime of 71 minutes.

No Regrets in Life episode 2 continues from where we left episode 1 when we get to know that Wang Yan’s wife Liang Xin Zhen is his fellow worker. She is from the Marketing department and stops Wang Yan from shipping the products on the basis of poor quality. However, he refutes back saying that she checked the wrong data and tells her that she should’ve tried communicating with the respective department first.
The scene shifts to Ning Yu Zhou’s co-workers discussing the popularity of the video which is still increasing. Ning Yu Zhou shows her concern for Wang Yan’s wife while her co-workers tell her that Wang Yan to needs to come out and give a clarification. They continue discussing the video when one of the workers offers her a free cake while another man comes up to her and shows his arm in an attempt to get her to bite it.
Ning Yu Zhou continues to get scolded by the netizens due to her live stream as she waits for a response from Wang Yan. Meanwhile, three of the Nine Suns have come to visit her at work and take her to a nearby cafe. However, they are dumbstruck at how the public reacts to the presence of the now famous Ning Yu Zhou. The four then talk about Wang Yan and Ning Yu Zhou’s mysterious boyfriend whom they have never met because he is in showbiz. They find it hard to compare the two men as one of them has never made an appearance.
The three are desperately trying to get Ning Yu Zhou and Wang Yan to meet and continuously talk about him to her. This causes a misunderstanding as Ning Yu Zhou feels that her friends are biased toward Wang Yan. Now angered, she leaves. She wandered the streets while texting her mysterious friend Tou-Kou about her feelings regarding the current situation. However, when she reaches home, she finds her boyfriend- Bi Jia Da (JC Lin) waiting for her outside.

The two head inside and Bi Jia Da shares his feeling of insecurity with her as he failed another audition. Ning Yu Zhou encourages him and tries to uplift his mood as the two share a soft moment. Ning Yu Zhou later tries to find out if he knows about the video and is able to feel relieved when he says that e has been sick these days and couldn’t go online. She tells him that they will go to the doctor after he finishes eating to which he asks how she was able to take such good care of people.
This takes us to another memory of hers when the sick Ning Yu Zhou is taken care of by Wang Yan. Returning from this memory, the two continue to discuss Bi Jia Da’s audition and soon share a kiss. On the other hand, Wang Yan is on his way back home when Liang Xin Chen calls him and asks him to come back home to discuss the video. However, we witness a very petty side of hers upon Wang yan’s return when he keeps his stuff on her side or tries to use the bathroom during her time.
She then asks about the video and titles Ning Yu Zhou as his girlfriend to which Wang Yan denies. However, she provokes him by telling him about all the stuff connected to Ning Yu Zhou that is kept in his study. She reminds him about the divorce papers in his study and Wang Yan runs over in frustration, giving her the now signed papers. He returns to his study and remembers the concert when things went wrong as scenes of his past continue to flash. He then gets a call from his friends to meet.
They scold him for wanting to wait for three days when Ning Yu Zhou confessed to him. He asks them to stop as he has gone through enough that day. Later, Ning Yu Zhou sees that Wang Yan has uploaded a video to clarify the rumors. He asks everyone to put the video behind and not scold Ning Yu Zhou anymore. The next day, Ning Yu Zhou once again finds herself in the midst of discussing Wang Yan and assumes that he does not love her. She even adds that it is not a crime that he never loved her and that they should let go of things.
But the situation takes another turn as the netizens are now siding with Wang Yan. He has become the center of good comments which comes as a surprise to him. Elsewhere, Ning Yu Zhou finds out that Wang Yan’s apology video was a result of his friends telling him to do so which once again causes a misunderstanding. And soon, Ning Yu Zhou rushes to her friends with the will of wanting to fight back. But stops when Wang Yan appears at her workplace.

The two head to the lounge to talk about their situation, but unknown to them their conversation is being live-streamed by Ning Yu Zhou’s colleague. Wang Yan talks about his apology video but Ning Yu Zhou misunderstands this and says that he is trying to show off. The two then start bickering about the presence of her colleague who then texted her to get the truth out of Wang Yan. Ning Yu Zhou takes this chance and makes it clear that it was he who had chased her during the day of the incident.
While Wang Yan agrees to that, he also tells her his reason for the same. He then gives her papers for a lawsuit in order to sue the netizens who have slandered her, which she signs and gives rise to another ruckus among the netizens. Meanwhile, the three from their Nine Suns group try to find out if the mysterious uploader of the video is among them. One thing leads to another and they then call Ning Yu Zhou and inform her that Wang Yan is getting a divorce.
Elsewhere, Bi Jia Da has come for an audition but gets flustered when he sees something on his phone before the audition starts. Ning Yu Zhou on the other hand has a fun evening with her friends before returning to see Bi Jia Da at her house. While she tries to make the heater in the room work, he plays the video of her fighting with Wang Yan. When she tries to explain herself, Bi Jia Da’s frustration about his work explodes. He once again shows his insecurities but Ning Yu Zhou reminds him of the time she fell in love with him. The two share a heartfelt moment.
No Regrets in Life Episode 2 Ending
The netizens have once again made Ning Yu Zhou the center of comments as many streamers claim to know her to increase their popularity. Wang Yan takes Liang Xin Zhen out for lunch but gets a call from his friend who informs him that the most slanderous comments have all come from the same IP address.
A reverse button is hit as we go back to the day after the concert when Wang Yan first misunderstood Ning Yu Zhou and Si Ma Yao. We now know Si Ma Yao created this situation on purpose. While everyone is celebrating their graduation, Ning Yu Zhou and Wang Yan miss the ceremony as they are both unable to face each other.
No Regrets in Life Episode 2 Review
No Regrets in Life episode 2 showed that there could have been a wonderful present for our protagonists but it was stopped by a misunderstanding that could have been solved eight years back. If only they had enough courage back in those days. Ning Yu Zhou has shown that she is very much in love with her boyfriend and it is not love but anger that stops her from facing Wang Yan. I really like how she is not deceiving anyone in an effort to show that she has moved on, but has actually invested her feeling for Bi Jia Da.
Meanwhile, I am curious about the reason why Wang Yan needed three days to reply to her confession. This is keeping me more intrigued than the possibility of the two ever getting back together. We get to know that he had a 60-year plan ready for Ning Yu Zhou which is still in his study, so why did he need time when he was confessed to?
Lastly, the netizens have once again kept us entertained through this episode. The fame that Ning Yu Zhou is facing is not always nice and while some people like you, there are others who will slander you for their own pleasure. But, the main point is that whether good or bad, you become an object of entertainment and are nothing more than a monkey to the public. It is sad but true.
The show has done a good job bringing out this reality while keeping the viewers entertained and intrigued. No Regrets in Life has done a good job till now and I am waiting for what happens to our protagonists next.
