Fast & Furious fans can rejoice as the mega-blockbuster franchise is coming to the big screens yet again with its tenth instalment. Fast X, which has gone into production this very week, will be one of the last films in this film series that has been running since 2001. This upcoming action film is directed by Justin Lin and written by Chris Morgan and, serves as the sequel to the 2021 film F9 and, will be followed by Fast & Furious 11 which will mark the end of this franchise. We will see the return of old cast members with the addition of some new ones.
Fast X will feature Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker, Charlize Theron, Jason Momoa, Daniela Melchior, and Brie Larson. Recently, actor Charlize Theron took to her Instagram and give us the first look at her character Cipher, who we know from two previous films- The Fate of the Furious and F9. The character Theron is returning to is essentially a villain in the film series.
The Old Guard actor wrote on Instagram: “She’s back baby. FastX @thefastsaga.” One of the pictures shows Theron’s Cipher standing in an elevator with two dismantled soldiers by her side and, in another one we see her getting direction from the director.

Fast X Set Pics Ft., Charlize Theron
She will be playing her role alongside Aquaman’s Jason Momoa in the film, even though it is not revealed yet who exactly is Momoa going to play. As for now Fast X is scheduled to release on May 19, 2023, and will be followed by Fast & Furious 11 slated to be out by 2024. Meanwhile, you can watch the last film in the franchise now on Apple TV+.
