MasterChef Australia Season 14 Episode 5 will put out contestants head to head to compete to only present the judges with the most impressive dish but, also to strive hard enough to not get eliminated. This Sunday marks this first elimination event in the MasterChef kitchen this season and, the tension is palpable clearly in fans and favourites, alike. But, well, at least not everyone has gotten a target over their head.
In the MasterChef Australia Season 14 Episode 5, which was titled Lucky Dip Immunity Challenge, we saw one contestant secure an immunity pin. As Julie, from the Favourites and, Montana, Harry and Chris from the Fans served their best dishes in the Food Pyramid Challenge, the four went head to head in the last episode to win the immunity pin that will save them from Sunday’s elimination task! The ultimate winner, in the end, is declared to be Julie Goodwin, whose emotional talk after receiving the pin left everyone teary-eyed. But moving on from that we have another interesting challenge coming up in the next episode that will determine the fate of many.
MasterChef Australia Season 14 Episode 5 Promo: What Challenge’s Up Next?
MasterChef’s Sunday event opens with a video which says, “Put down your pots. Throw out your frying pans. Get your jaffle makers ready. It’s the Great Aussie Jaffle Challenge”! For the ones who aren’t familiar with the term jaffle, it is none other than a classic closed toasted sandwich. And, that is what our contestants are set to make perfect in their next task to get a longer run in this competition.

The video further goes on to describe that there are going to be 22 jaffles that will baffle and, one jaffle to rule them all. This could either hint at 23 jaffles, one being the best out of the lot. Or, could be that anyone has used their pin. Well, we will get to know more about it in the next episode.
