AT A ROMANTIC GETAWAY, REAL-LIFE COUPLES ON THE BRINK OF BREAKING UP CHOOSE BETWEEN MENDING THEIR CURRENT RELATIONSHIPS OR PURSUING NEW FLAMES.

– Change Days Season 2 Episode 11 review contains mild spoilers –

As if things couldn’t get more complicated than bringing your partner on a reality TV show to solve your problems – now we have two couples going on overnight dates with each other’s partners. I don’t know whether I want to cringe or whether I want to feel something else. It’s so weird – even the MCs and participants felt the awkwardness and confusion of such a weird situation!

But, guys, Do-hyeong and Hui-hyeon get on this bike ride on Udo Island that has me wanting to go on a bike ride immediately. After the initial fun rides and discovering new things to do, we get to the more emotional talking points.

But first, both the couples enjoy some very interesting moments together that border on very romantic – a dangerous combination while out on a date with, honestly, a stranger. But that’s also the thrill of it – these are new people whom you’re just getting to know so spending a night together is really romantic and full of excitement.

The feelings which you can totally see on all of the people on these two dates. Apart from some conversations here and there, the couples didn’t talk about their spouses, which further proves that they were having a good time. When they weren’t exploring something fun to do, they were having deep conversations.

And these deep conversations feel very real, especially when Hui-hyeong talks about what plaques her and what happens when you’re in a relationship that is as long as hers. It’s not easy, as Do-hyeon mentions, but you gotta come to a decision one day or another.

As the night wears on, things get deeper, and one of the men has a face that might just give away that he’s already falling for someone new. It’s intense, and that’s why I mentioned that these romantic moments are dangerous – the deeper you get, the more complicated your feelings get. I don’t think this is going to end well for anyone.

Meanwhile, we also have a ton of couples left behind, and things are not great there as well. For one, Tae-wan and Hye-yeon’s problems seem to have reversed, which is an interesting change to witness. We have all seen Tae-want’s immaturity from the first day, but that original date has had an effect on him. And not only him, but things have also changed for her as well, and I am truly a bit shocked seeing her like this.

That’s one interesting thing about everyone. Actually, all of the participants and their relationships have somewhat changed after the conversations that they had with their spouses. These are sometimes subtle changes, but they make perfect sense in the show where you’ve seen these people somewhat closely. While some of their relationships have gotten just a smidge better, others are still figuring out what to do.

But, if you think that the people back at home aren’t having fun, you’d be wrong – they are playing a drinking game because, of course. But I think the vibe has changed from the last time they played that awful lie detector game; for one, no one feels awkward anymore. Well, at least not throughout – even the MCs have fun with the game.

The episode has been fun, especially with these dangerous overnight dates. Although the camera crew is there, so hopefully, no one is physically cheating, you know crushes are definitely being created, and for two people already having second thoughts about their relationships, it can’t be a good thing!
