Bridgerton Season 3 Confirmed: Netflix Shares An Official Video

Yes, you read it right! Bridgerton Season 3 is confirmed as Netflix released a video from the filming site in London, announcing that it’s under production. The video shows us the cast member of the series holding their two fingers up and changing into three, to announce the upcoming season.

The cast seen in the video is Jonathan Bailey who plays the role of Anthony Bridgerton, Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Luke Thompson (Benedict Bridgerton), Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton), Bessie Carter (Prudence Featherington), and recently-added Hannah Dodd (who is taking over the role of Francesca Bridgerton from Ruby Stokes), Luke Newton (Colin), Nicola Coughlin (Penelope).

There are some new cast members as well, Daniel Francis, Sam Phillips & James Phoon. Francis will play Marcus Anderson, a charismatic presence who lights up any room he enters, attracting everyone’s attention. Sam Phillips plays Lord Debling, a genial lord with unusual interests.

And James Phoon will play Harry Dankworth, although he lacks in wit and intelligence, but makes up with seriously good looks. The story of Bridgerton is based on Julia Quinn’s best-selling series of novels of the same name and is set in the sexy, lavish and competitive world of Regency London high society.

From the glittering ballrooms of Mayfair to the aristocratic palaces of Park Lane and beyond, the series unveils a seductive, sumptuous world replete with intricate rules and dramatic power struggles, where no one is truly ever on steady ground.

At the heart of the show is the powerful Bridgerton family. Comprised of eight close-knit siblings, this funny, witty, daring and clever group must navigate the upper ten thousand’s marriage mart in search of romance, adventure and love.

Season 3 will focus on Penelope as she finally gives up her crush on Colin Bridgerton. Instead, she’s focusing on finding a husband who will respect her independence so she may continue her double life as Lady Whistledown. But when Colin and Penelope try to help each other, he is faced with figuring out what his true feelings are.
