Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 2: Bigg Boss 20th Birthday Party; The House Has Barely Settled In, But The Fights Have Already Begun

Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 2: It is only Episode 2 of Bigg Boss 20, but the house has already found the fault lines. The obvious clashes begin with a sentence and end with half the house standing around it; the quieter ones include someone correcting someone’s language, a group laughing in the middle of the night, or someone getting annoyed over an unclean washroom.

Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 2

Bigg Boss has officially moved on from the introduction and the “being nice” phase and is all set for the full fights. The second episode had a good share of fights, verbal spats, the power being used, and a seemingly easy target.

Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 2: Bigg Boss 20th Birthday Party; The House Has Barely Settled In, But The Fights Have Already Begun

The episode was not just about the negatives: there were banters, discussion over ambition and goals, and a short discussion over the infamous Manoj Tiwari and Dolly Bindra fight. The funny part about it would be that Rhiti Tiwari, Manoj Tiwari’s daughter, was a part of it and seemed to enjoy the conversation while replicating Dolly Bindra’s part.

Aman Gandhi Needs Please, Which Mahi Vij Would Not Say

The first major clash came between Mahi Vij and Aman Gandhi, and honestly, it was not about a task or even a house chore, but how you speak to people. Mahi asked Aman to pick up her bags from the storeroom to shift them to the shelves. Aman clearly did not appreciate the way she asked him to do it, with the point simply being: she could ask him but not order him around.

The distinction itself became the fight. Aman essentially told Mahi that if she requested something from him, he would happily do it, but being ordered was another matter, and he does not appreciate it.

That is exactly the sort of tiny disagreement that becomes much bigger inside the Bigg Boss house, and it is suddenly not about the bags anymore. This fight did not escalate to a great extent as for now, as Aman and Mahi were seen sitting and chatting together at some instances.

It can, however, be seen that the hierarchy negotiations have already begun on day 2.

Qazi Touqeer and Yung DSA’s Full-Blown Fight

If the Mahi-Aman argument was about tone and did not escalate, the Qazi-Yung clash was about something much more abstract: what someone said and meant versus what someone heard and understood.

As Arishfa Khan was walking out of the kitchen, Qazi sang a song. Yung immediately said that he would not have been okay with it, which appeared to indicate Arishfa, and she immediately turned to ask Qazi whom he was singing the song to: was it to her or in general?

Arishfa then confronted Qazi, saying that she would have been okay if it was done on a personal front and not in front of everyone, while Qazi defended himself, saying Yung had simply put fire into the situation and that he himself meant nothing by it. Arishfa further told Yung about her conversation with Qazi, which escalated into a full-blown fight.

Yung went directly to Qazi to ask about it, and there came the escalation. The argument remained verbal, but the temperature kept increasing. Qazi began mimicking the way Yung speaks, which only triggered the latter further, and other contestants eventually stepped in as the two kept going back and forth.

There was also a brutal little exchange over the word “bhai” (transl. brother) as Qazi called Yung “bhai”. Yung’s response was blatant: he did not want a brother like him and asked him not to call him that, and that he has a brother at home who was enough for him.

It was one of those fights where the original issue almost disappeared somewhere in the middle and personalities took over.

Kanika Mann’s Power Changed the Game (for Qazi)

The power given to Kanika Mann on day 1 finally came into play, with Kanika using it to strip away Qazi’s opportunity to become the first captain.

With a slightly ironic turn of events, Qazi still ended up becoming the “sanchalak” (transl. referee), with Bigg Boss marking this as his landmark 20th birthday year. The first captaincy task was designed around Bigg Boss’ 20th birthday party.

The contestants had to compete through multiple rounds, and in the first round, Isha Rikhi, Aman Gandhi and Amrapali Dubey were seen eliminated by the “sanchalak”. Qazi announced that Rhiti Tiwari, Love Gill and Mahi Vij were eliminated from the second round, but there appeared to be a bigger question.

After the second round, several housemates questioned whether Qazi was being fair while performing the duties of “sanchalak”. Their complaint was that contestants were stepping out of the plate before the said time, yet Qazi was not disqualifying them. The contestants questioned his attentiveness in the game and whether he was fair.

Qazi Is Becoming The House’s Soft Target

There is also something happening around Qazi, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. He is being made fun of a lot. At one point in episode 2, Qazi woke up during the night, went to the washroom, closed it and sat on the seat beside his bed. A few contestants started whispering about him and making fun of him.

It is still early days, but there already seems to be a general feeling among the housemates that they quite do not like him. One complaint is that Qazi tends to take the conversation somewhere else instead of staying with the original topic, which Yung mentioned while speaking to other contestants after their spat.

Even Mary Kom and Rohed Khan’s Hindi has not escaped Qazi: he has been seen correcting the way they speak, something the two have, at least for now, seemed to take as banter. Mary Kom, however, clearly stated that Hindi is not her mother tongue and is difficult for her.

This is Bigg Boss house; something can be funny today and become the reason for nomination tomorrow.

Rhiti Tiwari Wants To Be More Than Just A Contestant

Amid all the chaos, Rhiti Tiwari seems like a refreshing personality until now. She appears to have a very clear idea of what she wants to be from the experience.

She and Qazi Touqeer even came up with a Gen-Z song together, but Rhiti’s bigger conversation was about her ambition.

Talking to Gullu and Rohed, she made it clear that she had not entered the house simply to be a contestant, and it would be very good if she wins, but her primary goal is to build her own identity, become a rockstar of the country and eventually a global icon. When Gullu advised her to keep singing, Rhiti went on to sing her own song, “Sab Ghoom Raha Hai, Dil Jhoom Raha Hai,” which Gullu appreciated and Rohed even asked her to cast him in the music video. Rhiti responded that it would be an honour for her.

Rhiti seems to be thinking more than just the house and beyond it while making the most of having fun with other contestants.

The Washroom Politics

No Bigg Boss season can survive for long without the washrooms being the main character. Uditi Singh was angry after finding the washroom unclean. Scout responded to her, but she did not find the response satisfactory and asked him not to laugh the situation off.

Uditi’s argument was straightforward: cleanliness is not something to joke about and is a basic issue. Scout was, however, seen being sarcastic during the exchange of words.

Later, while talking to Aman Gandhi, Scout made it clear that he is not this quiet outside the house, particularly in the gaming world, and nobody should trigger him. Meanwhile, Uditi, along with a few other contestants, was seen discussing the problem in the changing area.

The first real household issue has entered the house because Bigg Boss arguments do not always begin with nomination tasks alone.

Arishfa Is Already Tired of Being Called a Child

One thing irritating Arishfa is being called a child by everyone. The housemates believe that there is a reason for it. According to them, it is not just because she is young but because she behaves that way.

Their comparison is Yung DSA. Yung is the youngest contestant, but nobody seems to treat him like a child because, according to others, he does not behave like one.

The teaser for the next episode shows Arishfa, Amrapali and Mahi fighting, which means the whole conversation might be about to become a bigger problem.

Bigg Boss 20 Is Already Finding Its Characters

What makes Episode 2 interesting is not that there were fights but what these fights are revealing. Qazi is becoming a controversial figure and an easy target. Scout has made it clear that his quietness is not the personality he really owns; Rhiti has arrived with an ambition beyond winning the show; and Arishfa is pushing against the “child” identity she feels the housemates have assigned her.

This is still the beginning, just Episode 2; everyone is still settling into their real personalities because the house has not had enough time to be performative yet.

The shouting, betrayals, nominations: all of it would come later. Right now, the house is figuring out the annoying ones, and that is where the fun begins.
