Bigg Boss 20 Episode 60 continued the emotional family message task, but the messages from families did not leave housemates feeling all warm; instead, they brought forth questions, remarks and space for the existing equations to get messier.
The episode began with Uditi Singh receiving her family’s message as Yung DSA chose the message over gaining a life, followed by Uditi extending the same attitude towards Manish Goel, who got to hear the family’s message. Things took a rather different turn when Scout chose Love Gill’s family’s message over gaining his life, and the message itself opened Pandora’s box.
Love Gill’s Mother’s Message Puts Mahhi Vij in the Spotlight
Love Gill’s mother’s message came with a warning for their daughter to be careful of the people around her and that her family is outside the Bigg Boss house. She even questioned Mahhi Vij about the latter’s alleged “nanga kardeti” remark, had ScoutOP not been involved. She questioned the statement itself. The entire message came in Punjabi; thus, when Love translated her mother’s words as “unhone yeh baat boli ki agar Scout na hota toh isko mai nanga kardeti” to Mahhi, Mahhi took a defensive position, denying the alleged remark.
Mahhi constantly denied making any such comment, while Uditi maintained that if something like this was being brought up by a family member in a message, there would have been a reason attached. Mahhi maintained that she would want a clarification during the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar and later went to Love to apologise, but Love refused to accept the apology, explaining that her mother had been hurt. Mahhi then turned towards the camera and apologised directly to Love’s mother, saying sorry if she had accidentally made any such remark.
Mahhi Vij Breaks Down; Questions Bigg Boss
Following the exchange, Mahhi was visibly upset; Arishfa Khan and Uditi Singh tried to calm her down. Expressing her frustration, Mahhi said, “Mera he sab dikha rahe hai, mujhe lag raha hai… mujhe lag raha hai bohot negative, negative dikha rahe hai” (transl. I feel that they are showing everything negative about me), to which Arishfa responded that everyone’s actions were being shown, saying, “Sabka he sab dikha rahe hai”.
Mahhi, however, continued to feel that she was being portrayed negatively and even questioned Bigg Boss about why her actions were always being highlighted in a negative light when other housemates were also speaking badly about each other, eventually breaking into tears. She also questioned why Love’s mother did not question other things being said about her daughter.
Mahhi then asked Bigg Boss to let her quit and requested to be called into the confession room, explaining that she was feeling heavy. Inside the confession room, she questioned Rohit Shetty about speaking against her and Love Gill’s mother. Bigg Boss responded that there was no deliberate attempt to show her in a bad light and that the show itself would gain no advantage from doing so. Mahhi was told that the feedback was meant for her own betterment.
She was also later seen discussing the statement with Qazi Touqeer, explaining that if she had made such a remark, she meant to rip someone apart.
Aamrapali Questions Love Gill’s Changed Behaviour Towards Her
Aamrapali Dubey confronted Love about the noticeable change in her behaviour towards her. The issue went back to the moment when Love received her family photo after the voice message. She at first turned towards Scout and pointed out that he was also her family, adding that there was only one person in the Bigg Boss 20 house who was her family. However, as soon as she noticed Aamrapali standing, Love changed her statement to two people.
Aamrapali felt bad about the same and was seemingly hurt. She wondered whether the change in the behaviour came as an aftermath of her mother’s message, warning her to be careful of the people around her. Love clarified that her mother had told her that people were talking behind her back when she was not around. When Aamrapali questioned if Scout was included in the observation, Love suggested that he perhaps would be.
Dubey also expressed her disappointment over the change in their relationship and later discussed the situation with Yung DSA. She questioned why Love’s behaviour towards Scout had not changed in the same way and why Scout was not stepping in to help resolve the Aamrapali-Love differences. Yung added that he felt Scout was rather possessive towards Love.
Arishfa Misses Her Family Message; Yung, Gullu Receive It
Not everyone made an emotional decision, sacrificing their life for another housemate’s family message. Arishfa Khan did not get to hear her family’s message because Mahhi Vij chose to maintain two lives for herself, sacrificing Arishfa’s message.
However, Kanika Mann chose to let Yung DSA hear his voice message, sacrificing her life. After the message from the family, Yung was seen feeling low, fearing that his girlfriend would leave him and opened up about cheating on her multiple times. He mentioned that she would have known about that when he came to Bigg Boss 20. Aamrapali also made a similar decision, letting Gully hear his family’s message.
The message from Gullu’s family brought another emotional revelation from the contestant himself. He shared that people previously told his family that he brought shame for a certain decision that he took. However, he revealed that things were now getting better.

While Episode 60 was supposed to be an emotional rollercoaster with the messages of the family members, the messages also brought unresolved equations back to square one. The message for Love created friction with Mahhi and led to the subsequent breakdown of the latter. Mahhi was seen concerned about her portrayal itself. Aamrapali’s confrontation revealed how much the changing behaviour of Love affected her.
The sacrifices made by Kanika, Aamrapali, Yung, Uditi and Scout allowed the housemates to listen to their families’ voices after almost two months. The episode showed how much the words from the family can change the dynamics inside the house, and in a house where trust always comes with a big question mark, family advice would not make things simpler, it seems.
