Bigg Boss 20 Episode 62 led to some Diwali vibes, followed by chaos brewing inside the house. From Arishfa Khan becoming the captain of the house, to Love Gill and Mahhi Vij finding themselves in another kitchen quarrel, and Yung complaining about Mahhi’s cooking, the episode made enough room for arguments, while Yung’s mimicry brought some laughs for Aamrapali Dubey and Kanika Mann
The episode opened with ScoutOP once again asking Kanika Mann whether she remembered exactly what Kaashvi said. Meanwhile, Yung and aamrapali were discussing how Scout had made his mother look wrong on national television. They also brought up their opinion that Scout and Love were acting. The episode further gave the house its new captain
Bigg Boss 20 Episode 62: Arishfa Khan Becomes the New Captain of BB 20
Bigg Boss brought a rather wholesome moment when it decided to give Arishfa Khan a chance to become the captain, given that she was the only contestant who did not get to hear her family’s message in the Diwali week. Bigg Boss asked the housemates whether they would be willing to give her a chance to become the captain.
The decision was rather unanimous, with all the housemates entering the 2X room from the 2-door signalling green for Arishfa’s captaincy. Everyone had their own reasons, but her sacrifice and the way she did not let her pain become a pain for someone else’s happiness and allowing Aamrapali to listen to her family’s message, also became the emotional core of everyone’s decision. All the housemates decided in her favour, and Arishfa became the new captain.
Yung Mimics Love Gill; Scout-Love Argue Meanwhile
Amidst all the seriousness in the house, the garden area brought a little comic relief. Aamrapali Dubey, Yung DSA and Kanika Mann were sitting in the garden area when Yung began mimicking Love Gill’s walking style and the way she speaks English. He, in fact, recreated a moment from the previous day when Aamrapali, Yung and Scout were sitting in the Danube room talking, when Love walked in and asked what was happening. Yung’s recreation of the scene left Kanika and Aamrapali laughing.
On the other hand, ScoutOP and Love Gill were seen having a conversation that soon turned into a brief but heated disagreement. Scout objected to the way Love was speaking and felt that she was apparently making fun of him; however, for Love, it was a different case. Love asked Scout to stop controlling her and made it clear that she would not act according to him. The disagreement did not last long and settled soon.
Love-Mahhi End Up Quarrelling
Things took the shape of a commotion when Uditi Singh approached Arishfa, complaining about a utensil that had apparently been left unclean and filled with water after Love Gill had used it. Arishfa asked Love to clean it, but Love took the opportunity to make a dig. Without taking any name, she made a remark referring to the person who was new to the kitchen duty. Mahhi Vij took it personally.
Mahhi objected to the remark and clarified that she had not complained. She also suggested to Arishfa that she would leave and go, rather than being in the din. Love then also referred to Mahhi with the term “ping pong”, while also suggesting that Mahhi transfers the words from one group to another.
Yung Confronts Mahhi Over Cooking
Yung later confronted Mahhi over the upma she had made for breakfast, criticising both its taste and the way it had been cooked. According to him, the upma was tasteless and uncooked, and the peanuts had also not been roasted properly. Mahhi responded that this was the way she knew to make it. She suggested that if the housemates had a problem with it, her duty could be changed.
Yung disagreed with the response, arguing that she could not simply say that she could not and move on. She should instead learn and improve. Mahhi was eventually seen breaking into tears after the conversation, and once Yung had left.
Diwali Preparations Begin; Love-Arishfa Get Into a Verbal Spat
Bigg Boss did not let the house remain dull during the festivities and sent the festive elements to light up the house. The housemates received materials for Diwali decorations along with the supplies to make Diwali sweets.
The housemates got busy decorating the house and making rangoli, bringing a festive relief to the chaotic house. However, chaos entered soon! Arishfa and Love got into a heated disagreement and argument as Love felt that Arishfa was constantly interfering with her work and repeatedly nagging her about cooking. The disagreements and verbal spat between the two escalated while the house continued the preparations and tried to stop the quarrel.
Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 62: New Captain, Kitchen Duties, and Diwali Chaos
The latest episode of Bigg Boss 20 gave the house its new captain, unanimously voted for by the house. The house has begun Diwali preparations, decorating the house and preparing for festivities; however, the chaos and verbal disagreements have not left the house.
The nominated contestants still face the risk of eviction during the Weekend Ka Vaar, unless a twist is announced. However, housemates seem to enjoy the festive spirit while living with the house’s chaotic energy.
