Bigg Boss 16: Salman Introduces Burgirr Fame Abdu Rozik as the First Contestant

At the Bigg Boss 16 Press Conference held on September 27, 2020, Salman Khan dishes the name of the very first contestant of the reality show broadcasted on Voot Select as Abdu Rozik. He’s a Tajikistani singer and boxer and holds the world record of being the smallest singer.

The new season of the show will be premiering next season, and the race to find out the identity of the new contestants inhabiting the Bigg Boss house is on. While we’re bracing ourselves for the remaining contestants to be revealed, let’s find out more about the first name out of the hat.

Bigg Boss 16 Abdu Rozik

Who is Abdu Rozik?

Born on September 3, 2003, Abdu Rozik is a Tajikistani singer who went viral for covering Arijit Singh’s Enna Sona in 2021. Later invited to the IIFA ceremony, he sang Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga for Khan, who even embraced him.

Other than being a singer, he is also a social media influencer who probably rose to the top with his “Burgirr” video, which later turned into a well-circulated meme on SNS as well.

Rozik asks for everyone’s support this season and mentions how excited he is for his role in the house. Salman Khan hugs him before bidding farewell one last time as he exits the stage, and adds that this isn’t a show meant for kids. The contestant has a genetic disorder due to the Growth Hormone Deficiency, resulting in his short disposition.
