– Barry Season 4 Episodes 1 and 2 Review Contains No Spoilers –

Barry is in jail now, and he is celebrated. Yes! After Jim Moss and Gene plot a plan and trick Barry, the man ends up in jail, hailed by the security guards for being a stunning killer. But is Barry happy? Definitely no, and he is in search of forgiveness. Barry is now a whining child as he calls both Gene and Sally to let them know he loves them, but unsurprisingly, both of them shut him down. Lost and perplexed, Barry has no idea about his upcoming moves. Meanwhile, Fuches is also in jail and makes a deal with the FBI that if he gets to have a new life, he will leak all details regarding Barry’s murders.
Just when Fuches (who is wired) tries to make Barry answer a question regarding a person’s murder, Barry sadly apologises to Fuches, leaving the latter to forgive him instantly. Fuches cancels the deal with the cops and accompanies Barry. At the same time, Sally is a complete mess since she is considered the girlfriend of a killer. Her acting career is falling apart, and her parents are literally stupid folks who don’t give a damn about her mental health.

Gene is roaring successfully as he is the main headline for catching Barry. With his fame caving in, he becomes greedy and starts to share skewed stories about his encounter with Barry. Sally tries to confront Gene for his foul act, but he manipulates her into focusing on her new career using her current situation. We then meet Cristobal and NoHo Hank having their lovely time together in a deserted town. While they’re loving it, Cristobal low-key wants to return to LA and proceed with his criminal works. The couple gets an insight into the sand market at Santa Fe and plans to build an empire using this path.

Hank then decides to rope in Barry for his work, but that’s when he finds out about his arrest. When Hank plans to jailbreak Barry, Fuches shares with him a piece of advice. We’re then revealed that Barry has made a deal with the FBI along with another inmate, which is definitely not Fuches. Hank and Fuches realise that Barry is going to bring down all the mafia gangs. Hence the plan to kill Barry returns similar to what happened in Season 1, but this time it might be sinister.
Barry Season 4 Episodes 1 and 2 Had Some Humour, But…
Since the Barry series never failed to make me laugh, the first two episodes of season 4 made me sad (except for the table scene where Cristobal and Hank keep running here and there). Barry Berkman is in a lot of trouble, and everybody he trusted is turning against him. He is a bad person, yes, but Fuches made use of him when he was under PTSD condition (he still is). If only he were given proper therapy, the ex-marine would have led a good life. Anyway, the past is past. Now that Barry is a bad guy, the finale is either going to bring him down or give him a new life.

The two episodes were focused on all characters’ next plans, and it raised questions regarding how deep the next episodes might be. Will it make the viewers lose their nuts like the last three seasons, or is this finale really going to be only a thrilling conclusion? We will know soon!
