At Midnight Trailer Breakdown

The trailer of the romantic comedy film starts with the power couple of Sophie (Monica Barbaro) and Adam, discussing about their successful relationship on a cliche-filled late-night talk show. It also gives a few glimpses of their love saga, which happens to be more for the press than for themselves.

Eventually, the two-minute twenty-six-second clip does not mince any time in foretelling the fate of this Hollywood romance. The love-stricken actress finds her partner cheating on her and catches him red-handed inside his vanity van. This completely breaks the spirit of the emerging actress and sends her into a state of total breakdown.

Furthermore, when Sophie decides to call things to quit and make things public about her relationship, her manager suggests taking the high road and avoiding any bad press for her acting career. Even though Sophie is quite reluctant to that idea, she ultimately takes a vacation in Mexico, to avoid feelings of discomfort and heartbreak.

This is exactly when serendipity arrives at work, and Sophie meets the charming manager of the hotel, Alejandro (Diego Boneta). And strikes something special at the very first encounter. Furthermore, their initial interaction turns into a typical comedy situation and then matures into a deep discussion about life and love.

Slowly and steadily the far-fetched difference between their profession starts to melt away, and the duo becomes close to each other. However, the situation becomes even more confusing, when Sophie’s terrible ex, makes another appearance in her life. Which makes her reconsider a five-year-old toxic relationship, even if it means parting ways with Alejandro.

The last few frames of the trailer paint a montage of love between Sophie and Alejandro, as they try to figure out the nuances of a complicated affection, and find a way for a classic Hollywood romance. Morever, the complete trailer of the rom-com movie gives a vibe of the perfect date night flick, filled with several heartwarming moments that are bound to make you emotionally tuned with the romance.
